2XU's T:3 is engineered for triathletes demanding the optimal balance between buoyancy and flexibility, without the expense. Additional proprietary 2XU features include Rollbar for enhanced body positioning, Floating Zip Panel for extended reach and 39 Cell Front Buoyancy Panel for maximum buoyancy.
Bringing top end technology to the Team level, 2XU has included graduated Velocity Strakes in the SCS coated front chest panel to offer heightened body positioning and streamlined tracking through the water like never before.
Modern triathlon wetsuits were invented by Dan Empfield in 1987 and are customized to the needs of triathletes, they generally incorporate the following key features which differentiates them from a normal wetsuit. 1, Thinner and/or more pliable rubber near the shoulders. 2, Long zippers to facilitate quick removal during transition. In addition, tri wetsuits have a very smooth, but often fragile, surface. This slick surface helps to reduce water friction and allows a faster swim. Another advantage of a tri wetsuit is the added buoyancy that the wetsuit provides, this can provide triathletes with a considerable speed and energy saving advantage over swimming without a suit.

Magazine reviews for 2XU Mens T:3 Team Wetsuit
Review from Triathlon Plus
As seen in June 2012 issue of Triathlon Plus UK.
This entry-level wetsuit, available exclusively through Wiggle, offers many of the benefits - and the cool looks - of 2XU's higher-end models.
The shoulders are flexible enough to allow the arms to swing freely, which is partly down to the stretchy, uncoated material under the arms.
All testers found the next a bit restrictive at first, but quickly got used to it.
The torso, with Velocity Strake grooves designed to help forward tracking, feels strangely stiff at first, but the suit is superbly buoyant and two of our testers who are prone to 'snaking' found it kept them on the straight and narrow and helped control body rotation. It feels complete different to the other suits here, and comes highly recommended for weaker or new swimmers who'll love the support.
A buoyant, supportive and fast suit, great for beginner triathletes or weaker swimmers.
Review from 220 Triathlon
As seen in 220 Triathlon magazine - June 2012
Sharing some technical features and design cues with their insanely expensive Project X suit, 2XU's T:3 is aimed at the more price-sensitive among us. It comes complete with Velocity Strakes (channels down the front of the suit) and an SCS hydrodynamic coasting, and feels quite light compared with some of the other mid-range suits on offer.
Flexibility around the shoulders is good, as is buoyancy in the upper body. Legs are less buoyant, which makes it better choice for those with a stronger kick. The neck is a little stiff, so did rub a bit, but it's nothing a few wears and some wetsuit lube wouldn't sort out.
A generous zip does make it easy to climb into and out of. The very supple neoprene is excellent for comfort, but feels less durable than some other suits on the market.
Lightweight and supple. Doesn't feel as tough as some of the other suits.

I am 184 cm and 75 kg.
Thanks for your input.
I'm 178cm tall and my weight is around 70kg. I'm pretty fit and expect to gain a couple of extra kilograms of muscle. In other words I will be weighting around 72kg and just on the borderline of af small/tall and a medium. May you please recommend a size?:)
Thank you in advance
I am not sure what it means, I am 83kg 41 inch chest, 38 inch waste (Below belly button) 173cm tall and this wet suit fits me nicely.
If I was to loose any more weight I will be going to the standard medium size.
(I wear 32inch waist trousers if that helps.)
Thanks in advance for your help!
I'm thinking of buying the 2XU T3 wetsuit. I'm 5'11 (1.78); chest 43" (110 cm) and weight 81 kg with fairly strong legs.
I am a rookie in the world of triathlon, and is about to purchase my first wetsuit.
I have my eyes on the 2XU T:3, but is having doubts about which size I need? I am 182 cm high and currently weight is 87kg (but will for sure loose a few the next couple of months...)
Thanks for your help in advance.
