I don´t know the way or if it´s only a placebo but I´m using postrunning and I could feel the difference (less pain, faster recovery,...)
I insisit that it could be a placebo but it´s perfect for me...
The Elite tights will be much more comfortable for active use as they are more flexible. If you all looking for one pair of tights for both active use and recovery use, the elite tights are the way to go!

I am 5'7 and about 55 to 60 kgs and I have a 31 inch waist. When I looked at the other 2XU products they gave XS as having a 27 inch waist which would cut me in half.
Which of the two sizes would best fit my waist while still giving me adequate compression?
PS - I tried Skins size small and they were just like regular leggings so not tight enough apart from the waist which was fine if that comparison helps.

I am 6'1 with a Med. The most important thing is that the crutch lines up with yours. If you get too large a pair, the crutch is lower and restricts your movement. You can't really pull them up highter, because the fit often pushes them back to where they are designed to sit. I would recommend doing smaller, and the draw string pulls them up. The best fit is when the ancle opening is tight, and up your shin slightly (hard to get off, but better) Better for movement, compression. If the size is definitely incorrect, you can always send back and they replace and pay for the postage. Is there still a ST (small tall)?
I'm 175cm, 70km and 32" waist and I wear a xs.
According to the chart, i was in Small. But the girl at the shop told me best to get the smallest you can dit it to provide you with more compression and better result. So i ended up buying a xs.

These tights are sized according to height and weight but if he is quite stocky, I would have thought he would need the Medium or probably the Large.

overall , i used it between 5 + and zero , it is ok while you exercise but when , you stop , you feel the cold . In addition if windy , you feel colder quicker . There is a thermal version which i beleive is more adapted for colder situations , which I have ordered but not yet received . Other wise , I use the comprssion tight under another thight in particular to stop wind , which works well too .
