Though the lock is tough, strong & of good value & quality, I just don't like that the key has to remain in the lock, unitl it's locked. Having few keys on the same ring as the lock, thee can get in the way & dangle as your wrapping the lock around the post & frame. 04 June 2011

Adequate for the coffee shop An adequate lock for stopping at the shops etc. Probably not secure enough for leaving a bike in a higher crime area or overnight. Light enough to carry around. 14 December 2010

Secure Yet Portable I was worried about the reduced security of a cable lock over a D lock but it was much thicker and sturdier than I had originally thought. You can also wind it up and store it in a bag whilst travelling rather than locking it to the frame. It is easily long enough to run through the spokes of my quick release wheel, the frame, and round a bicycle stand. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a sturdy lock but do not like the bulky nature of D locks. 11 October 2010
