Ultra Gel I used to take GU Gels which works wonders, but it's too thick. For the last few months I've been using these and I can't recommend them enough, taste good (Vannila), gives a good lasting kick. I use about 4-5 of these during my Ultra Marathons. 20 March 2013

Favourite pre-run gel I've been using the chocolate+caffeine Accel gel for about 3 years now and still haven't tired of it. I primarily use it before early morning long runs (caffeine doesn't work for me during the run). Gives a decent caffeine hit and doesn't seem too sugary, possibly because of the protein content. Doesn't seem to sit in the stomach or cause me any probs during the run. 04 July 2012

Good enery gel Not too thick. Gives a good amount of energy per sachet. I use two per hour. I've tried four flavours which are all fine, but vanilla is my favourite. 14 March 2012
