Does what it says on the box Very useful for city cycling, easy to put on and take off, definitely a good buy for rainy days. 07 April 2013

Perfect for cycling to work in normal shoes Firstly, these are not for SPD cycling shoes, they are designed to fit over normal shoes. I went for size XL and they fit perfectly over a pair of size UK 11 Nike Blazer Lows. They're basically perfect for commuting in your normal clothes, and they work. My feet stay dry and I can pedal normally in them. 20 February 2013

Didn't work :>( Bought for a cycle trip around Europe, failed on first use! Fixing poppers, stop working, and that stops them staying in place. Plastic bags performed better, so the useless 'bike boots' ended up in rubbish bin somewhere near Arnhem! 22 January 2013

Let down by poor design I wanted something quick and easy to slip on over trainers for my commute, and this looked ideal. Sadly it was not to be - the shape is all wrong at the toe and the baggy strap under the toe is just bizarre and pointless - was the design of these ever tested on a real shoe? I had to send these back as the cost was too much given the heavy compromise on fit, but the frustrating experience did inspire me to get some waterproof fabric and make my own, with a better shape and simpler, less fiddly fastenings, and much cheaper to boot! 14 December 2012

Will these fit over and work with SPD or SPD-SL type cleats as there's no pic of the bottom of them

Afraid not. The strap that leads from the toe under the sole doesn't have a hole for any cleat to fit through. These seem to be designed with regular shoes/trainers in mind.
