Answers
It would very much depend on what open water you're swimming in of course. In some open water you can't see much anyway.
But I like my Kayenne goggles as much as anything for their clear lenses.
If it is a sunny day, I find a tinted pair of goggles much more comfortable, as they reduce the glare from the sun (and surface glare ), however, if it is a dull day, a dark tint may make it more difficult to spot targets in the distance.
On a lighter note, I find that wearing blue tinted goggles make the conditions seem a lot colder, whilst orange coloured lenses make it feel much warmer! .
