Performance trail shoes for dedicated off-road runners. The Gel Fuji Trabuco features a lightweight and low profile construction with gel cushioning, rock protection, support and traction for extended routes.
Heel Clutch Counter
An external plastic moulded support at the rear of the shoe. The heel clutch counter holds the heel securely in place to help prevent over pronation and abrasion.
Rear Foot and Forefoot Gel
Gel inserts in the rear and forefoot areas of the sole provide cushioning and pressure distribution with no degradation over time. Essential comfort for long routes.
Trail Specific Upper
The trails specific upper is designed to provide support when running on un-even surfaces. Non-porous materials are used for quick drying and water release. The toe box features rubber buffer protection against rocks and roots and tear resistant laces provide additional security.
Rock Protection Plate
A robust armoured midsole plate that prevents sharp rocks, glass or thorns from penetrating the sole, distributes pressure to avoid injury and discomfort on challenging surfaces.
Low Profile Midsole
The Low Profile Midsole keeps your foot closer to the ground, providing more stability and responsiveness for twisting and turning on rough terrain.
With deep rubber lugs, the Trail outsole provides traction and security so you can run up and down steep sections and loose terrain with confidence. The lugs are positioned at 90°: angles to help shed mud quickly and easily.
|Asics Gel Fuji Trabuco Shoes|
Offroad or "trail" shoes offer increased outsole traction and uppers with toe bumpers and reinforced stitching for more durability. The foot often sits slightly lower to the ground than usual for stability and responsiveness. Offroad shoes often have less cushioning than a road shoe because they're designed for softer surfaces. You should choose offroad shoes if you do a lot of off-road running and need shoes with extra traction, more durable uppers and extra protection from the terrain.
