The ASSOS Centro Studio goal was to combine three important characteristics in this sock:
- Lightweight, but heavy protection
- Compact construction
- low compression
The use of ultrathin fibres ensures an extremely low weight and volume. The weave remains highly compact due to an unparalleled number of stitches per square inch using special new machinery. A generous portion of strategically inserted elastane fibres provides low compression support while helping blood circulation.
The result is a very thin sock with a snug, ergonomic fit that follows your foot. Entirely wrinkle free inside your shoes, intermediateSocks_S7 give a second-skin fit while providing increased durability. The ideally calibrated blend of different polyamide fibres perform proper moisture management to keep you as dry as possible.
About Cycling Socks
Your feet work really hard on a bike and are a major point of contact, so it's worth pampering them a bit. Cycling socks are designed to relieve the pressure points generated by pedalling and keep your skin dry by wicking moisture away. About the Assos brand
Assos are one of the world's pioneers and specialists in producing high quality cycling clothes and accessories. They are located in a region of Switzerland that has maintained a long standing tradition in first class textile engineering. In the 1970's, Toni Maier-Moussa, founder and chairman of Assos accidently invented lycra cycling clothing, whilst trying to create the ultimate bicycle. During the wind tunnel tests of the first ever carbon-fibre bike, Toni inadvertently found that lycra downhill ski racing suits had much less drag than the woolen-knitted cycling clothes of the time. To this day Assos firmly believe in total product competence, delivering optimum function and comfort, by researching and making its cycling clothing and accessories from the very best materials.
