   Cycling shorts are a form of close fitting legwear that have been designed to improve your comfort and cycling efficiency. They are arguably the most important part of your cycling wardrobe.

2. What makes a good pair of Cycling Shorts?

   The primary goal of a pair of cycling shorts is to provide you with some padding, whilst allowing you ease of movement. A good pair will ensure that you’re comfortable riding over long distances.

3. How do I choose?

   Cycling shorts fall into two main groups – mountain biking and road. Road cycling shorts are close fitting, reduce wind resistance and increase aerodynamic efficiency. Mountain bike cycling shorts are designed to be more rugged and durable to meet the demands of riding off road terrain. Men’s and women’s shorts will also have different padding and leg shapes to account for the anatomical differences.
