About Disc Brake Pads

Wiggle stock a large range of disc brakes pads. Disc brake pads are available in various fitments and compounds to suit your needs, softer pads will wear quickly but are ideal for wet weather use or downhill, whereas harder compound pads will last but not offer great wet weather performance. Most brake pads will be a medium compound unless otherwise stated, making them ideal for all round use.

Decent pads Trickly to replace - don't squeeze the lever once the pads are out !! Really good pads otherwise. 15 June 2010

Best Ive Used Having tried the EBC and Clarks bads Im back to the Avids. For me they seem to give the best performance and pad life on my Juicy 5's. The Clarks were complete rubbish, with organics ones lasting just 3 short muddy rides, and the sintered ones not much longer. 28 July 2012

Original and best Avid Juicy pads You can probably get cheaper brake pads but they won't be original Avid Juicy OEM parts and as this is the first time I changed the pads on my bike I wanted to ensure I got the best. Sintered pads last longer and don't fade as quickly, however they are reported to cause squeel, but I'm happy to say I've had no annoying noises from these. They work well and time will tell if they will wear as well as expected. All in all a good price for some OEM pads. 16 May 2012
