Answer:
The consensus seems to be - if in doubt go for the larger size. Unless you have a particularly small head, go for the large. My head is 59/60cms and the large skull cap is close fitting, even 'tight' - as it should be.

Answer:
I'm female: I tried small and medium and found the small size chin strap restrictive and the medium perfect. The caps are very flexible and easy to put on; the comfort of the chin strap is the main thing to get right. If it gapes a little behind the ears pull it down at the forehead for the proper fit. I returned the small cap for a prompt refund.

Hi there,
does this cap keep the ears dry or do I have the water amongst the cap and my head when using it?
Kind regards
Hoirkman
Answers
Answer:
It certainly keeps ear plugs in place. I haven't tried yet without ear plugs. I think it should stop the water slapping into your ears but I'm not sure that it keeps all water out - may depend on the fit.

Answer:
It's a pretty snug fit and the chin strap helps keep the sides against my head. I get a little bit of water, but my hair is usually quite dry after I've been swimming with this.

I found that my ears got wet but the top of my head was dry. I think that the skull cap is best for warmth, rather than keeping you dry.

Answer:
I wear a similar cap with a silicone cap over the top (for visibility) My ears do get wet but the water doesn't 'sloosh' around too much and i often find my hair (which is long) semi dry!

Answer:
My guess is that whilst the large will be a fraction bigger than it needs to be, the small will be way too small. But of course, I am only guessing. My head is 59/60 cms and the large is about as tight as I would want it to be.

Answer:
if you like feather feeling on your head, buy a medium
If you like it to be tight, you can try a small, but it will squeeze a bit

Answer:
Medium fits 55cm and I think it would fit larger heads comfortably as it's not a tight fit on 55 cm. (Small also fits 55cm head but I found the chin strap restrictive). The caps are very flexible and easy to put on. (I returned small for a prompt refund).
