The new AiR aerodynamic racing frame, fork and seatpost looks stunning. The frame is constructed using full high modulus carbon fibre and benefits from wind tunnel testing. The down tube, seat tube and Seatpost are shaped for maximized airflow and reduce wind resistance in real world head and cross wind conditions. The fork and seat stays have flat inside and curved outside surfaces that also enhance the airflow interaction between the frame and wheel (further enhanced when using deep section wheels).

A stunning frame design that also features full internal cable routing for further airflow enhancement and clean lines. The mould design also incorporates one piece BB30 bottom bracket and optimised oversize box section chainstays with steep taper at dropout for maximized power transfer and strength.

A great road bike With this bike I moved from a touring bike to carbon road bike and into my mid life crises :-) The bike is red, light, and has mostly Ultegra components, is very smooth to ride and a lot of fun. Pros - Excellent build quality, arrived in Australia in under a week; Really easy to put together; comfortable, soaks up most bumps is RED, is fast. Cons - The Mavic wheels - the back one has been fine, but the front wheel has required a fair bit of maintenance - loose spokes. When ordering a question is asked if you want it set up to the left or to the right - this refers to which brake lever operates the front brake - it should be right for bikes that ride on the left-hand side of the road i.e. right brake lever, front brake. Wiggle service has been excellent, they have been really helpful in resolving issues - can't speak more highly of their aftersales service. This has been an excellent buy I can't recommend it more highly. 11 September 2012

A really good bike at the price I bought this in the cboardman campaign, but would even consider it a good buy at full price. The frame is lightweight and feels really good riding. Gears and fittings are perfect to my taste (being a non-pro group long-distance rider). I'm actually surpriced to be so, but very satisfied with the default saddle. 18 July 2012

Very happy First new road bike and 10 years and the "evolution" of geometry was quite a shock. I know this is individual preference, but I just don't like the look and feel of the super relaxed geometry, LONG head tube bikes that are selling as high end road bikes. This bike just does everything I wanted. It has a reasonable geometry, not super aggressive but not sit up straight. It has a regular crank and not a compact one (again personal preference of a flat lander) and the kit works great. Ultegra, Ritchey and Mavic. Hard to go wrong with that. Bike is light, handles really well and just likes to be ridden briskly. I have offered this review so far without mentioning price, because these bikes may not be considered because the price point is just so low compared to other brands. The price point is just the icing on the cake. Heads off to the folks at Boardman for the whole package. Wiggle was great as well. Bike delivered to US in 5 business days, which is a shorter time than I could get one made in my own state. For fitting purposes, I am only 5'6" and the 54 fits me perfectly. again, this is largely preference, but if you order, use the Wiggle measurements and take your "ape index", my arms are longer than my height so a little bigger size was perfect. Great fit and finish, nice graphics. Only wish Wiggle had the water bottles and other Boardman tidbits to finish it off. 13 May 2012

Boardman = Splendid! Excellent bike. Great value for money. I've done almost 2000km and I haven't looked back. As an occasional triathlete, the option of buying a TT designed bike but kitted out for road riding is a definite plus. Gives versatility. It's a pleasure to ride a bike that is well built, light weight, responsive and fast. For the budget conscious buyer, you won't be disappointed! 06 May 2012

This or slr 9.0 ?

Am wanting to get my first serious road bike , am tossing up between the air 9.0 or the slr 9.0 ,
Both look great but i dont know which to choose , at the moment i am on shortish runs but want to augment these and add a bit of hill work as well , bike weight is not really a problem , any advice would be greatly appreciated .

Is the Boardman Air Road bike seatpost flippable for forward offset?

Looks like the post is offset 1-1.5cm back in the stock picture, is it possible to flip the post around for a 1-1.5cm forward offset?

Top tube lenght horisontal

the boardman air 9.0 i am thinking of buying a size xs but the top tube lenght is 10 mm longer than my current bike. Is that a problem or can I adjust that through other fine tuning. Have a Scott Contessa speedster 25 today. Appreciate quick reply since i wanna order a bike this weekend. And also heard you can deliver to Australia in 4 days, what about Sweden in 2 days? :)
