- To find your size, place a tape measure on a flat surface up against a wall. Stand on the tape measure with your heal against the wall. Look down and take the measurement from your longest toe. Then use the MM scale on the size chart to find your size.
- The mm sizes on the size chart are the exact length of the last that we use to build the shoes. If you find that your mm size is exactly the same as a value on the size chart, you may want to select one size bigger to give your toes some room. Eg. You measure your foot and it is 268mm is size which is a size 42.5. Unless you like your shoes very tight, you may wish to wear a size 43.

Heat MouldingBoasting unparalleled heat mouldable design, all of Bont’s shoes feature a proprietary resin. It’s taken them 36 years of research, development and tweaks to create and perfect their resin to make an extremely stiff shoe that becomes pliable at relatively low temperatures. Where as many brands offering heat moulding can only do so in certain areas, a Bont shoe is mouldable across the entire chasis. With great anatomical design out of the box, the ability to fine tune your Bont shoe will give you an extremely customised fit for total comfort.
View the video tab for instructions on how to heat mould your Bont shoes at home.
Medial Longitude Arch SupportBont adds structural medial longitudinal arch support in all of their models to prevent over pronation. Bont believe over pronation is a big cause of knee injuries as the incorrect tracking of knees while in the riding position can cause rotation of the tibia and femur. This can also cause the pelvis to tilt, resulting in lower back strain. By adding extra support in this key area, they make shoes that allow you to perform longer, with less risk of injury.
Anatomical Foot ShapeBont offers a unique footshape on their shoes. Whereas nearly all cycling shoe companies make their footwear to a "dress shoe" shape which looks great, Bont believes this shape is too restrictive on the metatarsals. By crafting their shoes to allow more breathing room for your forefoot and toes, Bont aim to reduce "hot foot" and allow your foot to function in the most efficient and anatomically correct position. This technology allows your pedaling force to spread across a greater surface area, creating better impact and fantastic performance.
Anatomical Heel CupTo increase stability during the pull through stage of pedaling, Bont have added an anatomically shaped heel cup. Without the need for over-tightening straps/laces or mechanical operation, you gain stabilization resulting in increased comfort and proper blood circulation.
Lateral Forefoot SupportTo maintain a neutral position of the forefoot and prevent common issues that arise from over pronation and supination, Bont offers shoes with Lateral Forefoot Support. With a reduced risk of incorrect knee tracking and hip/lower back ache due to the correct positioning this enhancement encourages, you can ride for longer in confidence.
About Road Shoes
Road racing cycling shoes are designed without compromise to provide optimum power transfer between your foot and the pedal, a good quality road cycling shoe is a wise investment for performance and weight saving and is often overlooked. High-tech materials and precision manufacture keep weight down and stiffness up, this means your rotational mass is lower and power transfer is higher, resulting in more forward momentum for your effort.
About the Bont brand
Founded in 1975, Bont began when Inze Bont, a recreational skater decided to fiberglass the back of his leather skates to gain extra support. A simple, yet innovative approach which started a company now in its 35th year, with product ranges across two highly competitive sports and sales across 56 countries.
Inze's innovation saw Bont as the first footwear manufacturer to commercially use materials such as fiberglass in 1975, Kevlar in 1986 and Carbon in 1989. The companies philosophy in continually driving development, along with its reputation for producing the highest quality products rapidly made it the largest producer of hand made speed skates in the world, a position it has continually held and one that is backed up by not only our volume of products sold, but by countless world championship medals.
In 2007, after continual requests the decision was made to expand the companies product line into the cycling market. Working together with world class athletes, Bont launched its initial offering of cycling shoes and in its inaugural year at the 2008 Beijing Olympics finished with 8 Gold medals.
Since 2008, Bont Cycling has rapidly grown it's product line to over 12 models in stock sizing and now caters extensively to all disciplines of cycling. Our range of cycling shoes cater not only to high performance athletes, but also to enthusiasts and beginners alike.

Product Q & A

I purchased a pair of these in size 41 over a month ago. I had measured my feet according to bonts website and a 41 standard width should be perfect but they are incredibly narrow. I have heat moulded them 3 times with a 2 way shoe stretcher (very precisely) and they are still too uncomfortable to wear. I previously had a pair of Specialized s-works in a 41 and they were narrow fitting and it took a month but I can only wear the Bonts for a few mins before they cut into me. I'm really not happy with them and my measurements are perfect according to the Bont sizing. I have been racing at elite level for over 20yrs and gave these shoes a lot of consideration before buying and after reading every review i could find expected them to be perfect but they are the most uncomfortable shoe i have ever worn. i would really like to fix this. i have purchased a pair of Mavic Heuz to start racing with and these are a size 41.5 and feel loose on me (but comfortable) the 2014 s-works are smaller in volume so dont suit me anymore. I am desperate to make the bonts work. Can you help? Are the Bonts you sell Standard width or narrow. There was no marking on the box or shoe and I took it for granted that they were standard fit when I ordered them and if they were then they should fit perfectly.
Fell narrow on my feet and also very close fitting to my toes.
I measured my feet and these were the correct size as per bonts table. i have noticed that the next size up is out of stock and i am want some advise as i dont want to heat mold them for them to still feel the same.
