GPS receivers are now made waterproof, lightweight and small enough to fit on a bike easily. There are 2 basic choices to take on your bike: a GPS unit designed primarily for navigation with a dedicated bike mount, particularly suitable for cycle touring and finding your way in unfamiliar territory, like the Garmin eTrex Vista Cx; or a dedicated bike computer that uses GPS to track your training routes and provide detailed analysis of your workout like the Edge 305, with more limited navigation capabilities. Most units come with only very basic maps installed and you may need to purchase more detailed maps for your area to be loaded onto the unit for navigation.

All electrical goods sold on wiggle that come with a mains power supply are supplied with a UK plug. Please check the product description to see if any other plugs are known to be included in the box, otherwise you may need an adapter for use in your country. Most power adapters will accept 110-240 Volts.

Works great and comfortable I bought this to pair with my Bryton 50, and it works well every time. It has to be put on pretty tight, but you've forgotten it's there within seconds. Make sure to follow the instructions about where to where it, how to affix the reader to the belt, and how to wet the 2 conductor points on the inside of the belt before wearing. Also, do pop the reader off the belt before storing, as if left on it can go flat. I'd buy another, but you only need 1 !! 05 January 2013

a good piece of kit! My previous HRM belt broke down after about six months use. Tez at wiggle did a good job at getting me a replacement under warranty so thanks to him. It gives generally accurate readings and is essentially unnoticeable once put on. A bit pricey but good value. 13 October 2012

Does what it says on the tim If you have a bryton product, then this is the HR monitor to go for. It does look bulky compared to a Polar one, but once it's on you really don't notice it. I like the easy to connect belt and it seems very accurate so far. Managed to get it in Wiggle sale too so I'm a happy boy :) 29 January 2012

How is this heart rate monitor powered/charged? Is it universally charged, that is with a battery to use in Australia?

Answer:

It's a small flat Lithium battery inside that will last forever unless you flatten it by storing the belt with the monitor attached and the 2 contact points of the belt touching each other. I did that once, and changing the battery for a new one was easy.
The battery is like those in some watches, calculators etc, available for small change everywhere.
