About Panniers
Pannier bags are the ideal choice for carrying your personal belongings on your bike without having to use a rucksack. Pannier bags are designed to fit on either the front or rear of the bicycle using a pannier rack. Pannier bags vary in size and shape but are all designed to work with specific racks on the front, rear or side of the bike. Pannier bags allow a rider to carry large amounts of equipment in a safe and protected manner. Wiggle stocks a large range of panniers from the market leaders, such as Agu, Altura, Deuter, dhb and Ortlieb, giving you a wide choice to suit your needs.
About the Carradice brand
Carradice have been making saddlebags and panniers for more than 70 years. In the early 1930's Wilf Carradice first made a saddlebag for himself and discovered it was far better than anything else available. Friends soon asked for copies. By the end of the 30's Carradice were making tents, rucksacks, sleeping bags and jackets too. Throughout the 40's and 50's their bags were the choice of every hard riding tourist or club rider. By the 70's Wilf was wanting to retire and to pass the firm's experience and reputation onto someone who would continue to produce bags to the same exacting standards. Fortunately Neville Chadwick, a keen cyclist saw the potential for quality made cycle bags and took the company on. Demand again began to outstrip the production facilities and two moves to larger premises followed. All Carradice bags are made in their factory in Nelson which is still in family hands. A large proportion of bags (especially the traditional cotton duck ones) are exported around the world with a particularly strong following in the Denmark, Germany and the USA. In the last twenty years Carradice kit has probably been the choice of more worldwide cycling expeditions than any other.

Magazine reviews for Carradice Super C Rear Panniers
Review from Bikeradar
Carradice's Super C panniers have offered the same tried and tested formula for years - and for good reason.
Their superbly stitched cotton duck construction is tough, repairable, breathable and almost fully waterproof, with the fibres expanding to keep all but monsoonal downpours at bay. They're also low-key and won't stand out on tour.
Their capacity is a cavernous 48 litres, with roomy outside pockets and tabs for LED lights. The latest incarnations feature Rixen and Kaul's Clickfix Modul mounting system (for 10-16mm racks), which is more refined and easy to use than the effective but clunkier Carradice clasps.
On the downside, while touring on unusually rough roads we found the aluminium rails prone to bending slightly, because they're only attached to either end of the pannier rather than being bolted across its length.
The thin cord that helps removal also came off, but that's not a big deal and the clasps are still easy to unclip.
In conclusion...
Superbly made and the new mounting system is great too
