The Aero Race Jersey has been in continuous evolution ever since and has now exceeded 70 prototype iterations in the quest for speed. For 2012 Castelli improved the airflow in the area behind the shoulders and along the side panels using some innovative basic aerodynamic research and consulting with leading experts. And of course continuous testing on the road and with the Garmin-Cervélo team.
Velocity Fabric
A breathable, lightweight fabric with a clean stretch fit and a smooth face to reduce boundary layer drag.
Prosecco Treatment
Prosecco hydrophilic treatment spreads moisture over a larger surface area within the fabric for faster evaporation. The 3D structure of the fabric holds the surface of the fabric off the skin, improving wicking and reducing cling, keeping you dry and comfortable.
Giro3 Grippers
Instead of stitching silicone elastic to the sleeve, Castelli knit the grip material directly into a 5cm-wide band that gently compresses while securely holding the sleeve in place. It lies completely flat for improved aerodynamics.

On the bike, your Castelli jersey should fit close to the skin, Off the bike, it jersey might feel tight across the chest and a little short in front. Shorts should fit tightly enough to support critical leg muscles through compression without inhibiting movement and constricting blood flow.
