About Winter Gloves
Winter cycling gloves are designed to keep your hands warm, windproof gloves are especially good at this as they stop the winds chill from reaching your fingers. Many models incorporate a waterproof membrane to prevent the insulation layer getting wet, this is important as water carries the cold quickly. They are shaped so they're comfortable in the usual riding position and the fingers are usually pre-curved. If your riding position puts a lot of weight on your hands, choose gloves with padded palms, some even feature gel inserts for additional comfort and shock absorption. Alternatively, wear your summer cycling gloves underneath a slightly larger pair of insulated winter gloves.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
I wanted to be able to put a liner in these when it's really cold so was planning to go slightly larger i.e. the medium rather than small.
Presumably "Small/Medium" means it will fit all hands from 18.5-21.5cm? So should be an almost perfect fit for my hands?
I never use liners particularly with these gloves, they are super warm. You will definitely need to size up for for liners if you decide to use them.
My hands are 22cm and that size fits fine.
The Small/Medium ones were not long enough in the fingers and I found too tight, they were hard to get on and off and felt like they were restricting blood flow...! The Large/Extra Large are a much better fit for my hands, and I'm not exactly Pat Jennings.
To clarify though, a liner is unlikely to fit in either size. There is no liner in the glove, they are just a single layer neoprene, but are designed to be a 'race fit'.
I guess the moral is try them on your own hands before making a decision.
The rubber grip is great when your hoods are wet
So if you have access to a radiator to pop them on to dry them out between journeys for frequent use you are good to go!
