The Fawesome vest is another Innovation created at the requests of Cervelo Test Team Rider Gabriel Rasch. Starting with the Classic Aero Race Vest, Castelli added Winstopper X-Lite Plus to the front to enhance the stretch and breathability characteristics with the just the right weight for optimum warmth. Great attention has also been paid to the fit; it is now almost as aerodynamic as the Aero Race Jersey for efficiency in high winds. A splash guard on the back is included to protect your lower back when roads are wet.
Windstopper X-Lite Plus
A new fabric for Autumn/Winter 2011, this 4-way stretch windstopper fabric is extremely light weight and offers a stretchy, breathable outer shell that prevents wind penetration. Furthermore, the fabric is waterproof, making it the perfect protection for intense aerobic activities in wet and cold weather.
Velocity Fabric
A breathable, lightweight fabric with a clean stretch fit and a smooth face to reduce boundary layer drag.
