Winter Protection with Summer Comfort
With the product concept of the SanRemo SpeedSuit in mind, Castelli engineers created a new way to dress warm and light for winter riding. There are no bib straps to restrict breathing, the seat pad is as good as the one in your best shorts, and the materials don’t feel bulky or restrictive. By joining the jacket and the tight together, the Sanremo Thermosuit prevents cold air from entering, keeping you warmer and dryer with lighter-weight fabrics.
Progetto X2 Air Seatpad
Maximum technology for supreme comfort; The Progetto X2 returns with ventilating perforations to keep you cooler and dryer on endurance road rides. The new design allows air and moisture to flow directly to the surface fabric for quick evaporation. The shape of the pad has received minor updates based on feedback from the Cervelo Test Team. The Progetto X2 Air seatpad is constructed in 3 layer components, each dedicated to a specific purpose to create the most comfortable seat pad on the planet.
- 1. Skin care layer: A four-way stretch, microdenier, seamless, bacteriostatic layer made to adapt to the shape of your body and saddle without any folds in the fabric.
- 2. Seamless integrated technology cushioning layer: Multi-density foam with infinitely variable thickness. The thickness of the pad is engineered to place the padding where you need it most for maximum comfort.
- 3. Viscous comfort inserts: Perforated viscous padding is added under the highly sensitive ishial and perineum pressure areas.
Thermoflex Core Due
An innovative fabric, designed to keep you dry and comfortable, even in cold and wet cycling conditions. A hollow-core polyester inner layer traps warm air, while wicking moisture to the outer nylon/Lycra® layer, where it quickly evaporates. Thermoflex Core Due offers better warmth and wicking than traditional fabrics, with a 20% weight saving. The hollow-core inner layer repels water, keeping your tights felling dry on the inside, even when wet.
Giro3 Leg Grippers
Secure, low profile cuffs that stay in place without constriction. Instead of stitching silicone elastic to the short, Giro3 cuffs feature gripper thread knitted directly into the short in a 5cm-wide band that gently compresses while securely holding the short in place. It lies completely flat for improved aerodynamics.
WINDSTOPPER® X-Fast
A light weight and stretchy membrane fabric for weatherproof protection and insulation. X-Fast features a Gore WINDSTOPPER® membrane for total wind protection with outstanding breathability. The fabric has a brushed fleece inner surface for excellent insulation and moisture transfer. The outer surface is treated with a DWR water-repellent finish to shed rain and spray before it is absorbed.

Castelli Fit
Castelli apparel is cut to fit closely against the skin for excellent aerodynamics and moisture wicking performance. On the bike, your Castelli jersey should fit close to the skin, Off the bike, it jersey might feel tight across the chest and a little short in front. Shorts should fit tightly enough to support critical leg muscles through compression without inhibiting movement and constricting blood flow.

Answers
There are zips on the legs that run up about 6" and have a seal behind them to keep moisture out. The arm and chest panels are made of a wind and water resistant fabric that certainly kept the rain out today. The tights are also water resistant and it was amusing to see the later sitting on my thighs in little balls before flying off.
Once you have undone the full length front zip, the top of the tights at the front is low enough to hook your thumb over and pull down sufficiently for comfort breaks without needing to undress any further.

I am 5'10" tall and have bought the suit in size large. When completely fitted I estimate there is another couple of inches of material at least in the leg length and a bit around the backside as well near to the pockets. This indicates for me that it would fit a range of heights per size.
