Answer:
You can fit one to straight bars so long as you don't have plug in bar ends. The mirror will have to point upwards above the bar line rather than sideways as it can on a race bar fitting

Yes, mine are straight bars. It hangs downward, your arms can get in the way, but your arm is out signaling when you want to look in it anyway. I love it. Will get one for my other straight handle bar bike

Answer:
In addition to my last answer! What I said was right - you can fit it on to your handlebar if you have bar ends.
However, I've put my mirror on my bar end end, not the handlebar because it got in the way of my hands when it was at the junction of handlebar and bar end.

Answer:
I use mine with bar ends - I just took out the handlebar plug and it slots into the hollow of the handlebar. Because it goes inside the tubing it doesn't interfere with the way that the bar end clamps on the outside.

I spend most of my time riding on my drops and it looks like this mirror would be hidden behind my arm. Does anyone know if this is actually likely to to happen or not? Thanks.

Answer:
Not if you set it up to suit your position.
Even if you have to move your arm slightly its much better than having to sit up and look over your shoulder!

Answer:
I just put my review of this product up. If I tucked my elbow in I could look into it but if you are going fast enough to be on your drops then your bike will probably be vibrating too hard to focus into it. Unless you are riding on glass, with a ceramic coating...

Answer:
Yes it does happen although you can see the mirror if you are prepared to move your head or, temporarily, your arm. I think you'd need to use a mirror with a very long mounting arm if you wanted to guarantee it was visible without head movement in the conditions you describe.Hope this helps

The short answer is 'Yes it will', but it only takes a slight movement to look around your arm. It's easier and safer than turning your head, although actually looking around before making a manoeuvre is still a wise move

Answer:
It does get hidden. If you're on your drops you can move your head to see, but it then needs readjusting if you're using the top of the handle bars. There is a mirror I've seen and tried in-store but not road tested. It fits the frame behind the headset (is that what they call the bit where the frame joins under the handle bar?) and you look down through your arms and believe it or not you see very well behind you through in between your legs. However it is made for narrow dia frames, so if you've got fat carbon fibre it might not fit.

It's not happen, 'cause you can see the tip of your handlebar even when riding on drops. The only you need is to adjust mirror angle for best view.
