Cateye's latest cordless cycle computer with a host of heart rate functions. The HR200DW utilises Cateye's cordless technology to offer both cordless speed and cordless heart rate functions without interference. With a full compliment of speed related functions including current speed, average speed, trip distance, trip time etc, the HR200DW also features a wide variety of heart rate and maximum heart rate. In addition to all of these functions there is also a lap counter which can measure lap distance, lap average heart rate and lap average speed. Another unique feature of the HR200DW is the comfortable and user friendly heart rate sensor which can be attached to a chest strap or directly to clothing.
All in all, the HR200DW is a great value, highly advanced yet simple to use cycle computer/heart rate monitor.
About Cycle Computers
Cycle computers help you make the most of your time on the bike and are a great training tool, they have many functions including speed, distance, maximum speed, average speed and some even feature cadence (pedal revolutions). With wireless heart rate and speed, the whole thing is quick and simple to fit and set up. The bar mount will fit almost any bar (even fat aero shaped ones unless they're silly large) and the new heart rate sensor can be used with the strap provided or fitted directly to clothing so long as that clothing is a snug fit.
Women will be pleased as it fits a sports bra perfectly.
The computer has all the functions you could ask for, and the easy to read three-segment display lets you choose what's shown on the screen – which means less time clicking buttons and more time riding and monitoring.
There's a backlight too, and even a remote button kit to control the unit from the hoods or grips. We'd like another programmable heart rate zone, but just the one is good for such an affordable, feature-packed unit. Battery life appears to be excellent, and it is made up to Cateye's typical high standards.
In conclusion...
We doubt you'll find anything better - or even just as good - for the money
