About Light Sets
In order to cycle on the road it may be a legal requirement in your country to use a light certified to a specific standard or an international equivalent. Most but not all lights sold on Wiggle are certified and labelled with a European CEN standard. Please check your country’s requirements to see if this is sufficient and if necessary contact the manufacturer to see if this light has been additionally certified for your country. Strangely some of the very best lights are not legal on their own and should be used with an additional legal backup light.
About the Cateye brand
Cateye is the leading manufacturer of cycle computers, bike lights and reflectors. In 1964, Cateye became the first company to create a flashing lamp for bicycles. Cateye invented the first battery headlamp in 1982, and the very first bicycle headlamp using white LEDs in 2001. Cat Eye is a true leader in lens and reflector technology; Cateye's Opticube lens and reflectors allow them to make one of the brightest and most efficient LED headlights in the world.

Magazine reviews for Cateye EL135 And TL-LD130 Light Set
Review from Cycling Plus
Small but bright from all angles and with a simple tool-free mount that works well. Powered by two AA batteries it gave well in excess of Cateye's claimed run times of 80 hours constant and 320 hours flashing(we recorded 91 and 328). The LEDs are set forward in the open-lens design, making the impressive light output for such a small unit really stand out from the side and obtuse angles, and although it's not bright enough to ride with on dark roads at speed, this is a cracking little light to be seen with. When you power up the unit it starts in flashing mode so that when your batteries are running low you do not need to cycle through the full power setting first, resulting in a light that will at least flash to get you home on virtually flat batteries.
In conclusion...
Typical Cateye - well made, functional, well-thought-out and affordable.
