About Light Sets
In order to cycle on the road it may be a legal requirement in your country to use a light certified to a specific standard or an international equivalent. Most but not all lights sold on Wiggle are certified and labelled with a European CEN standard. Please check your country’s requirements to see if this is sufficient and if necessary contact the manufacturer to see if this light has been additionally certified for your country. Strangely some of the very best lights are not legal on their own and should be used with an additional legal backup light.
About the Cateye brand
Cateye is the leading manufacturer of cycle computers, bike lights and reflectors. In 1964, Cateye became the first company to create a flashing lamp for bicycles. Cateye invented the first battery headlamp in 1982, and the very first bicycle headlamp using white LEDs in 2001. Cat Eye is a true leader in lens and reflector technology; Cateye's Opticube lens and reflectors allow them to make one of the brightest and most efficient LED headlights in the world.

Magazine reviews for Cateye HL-EL530 and TL-LD1100 Light Set
Review from Cycling Plus
(from a review on the rear LD110 light only) As far as rear lights go, this is the daddy of all the self-contained units. With 10 bright LED's powered from just two AA batteries, the run time in excess of 100 hours (we actutally got 102 hours) in legal flashing mode is simply amazing. The modes are flashing, constant, sequential and fast sequential (in that order), making 16 ways to have your light turned on. The single best thing about this light is that it is btight, and bright at almost all viwieng angles. Add to the fact that it's well sealed, very well made, runs for ages and has a good mounting system, and this is a clear winner.
Quite possibly the best self contained rear light available

All mounts are very secure and easy to fit.
So yes, you would need additional brackets, but just for the rear.
The brackets can be purchased separately and cateye use a standard bracket for all their lights. Further sizes of clips are also available.
H31 - good sturdy bracket for front light (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cateye-handlebar-bracket/).
SP6 (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cateye-light-clamp/) + Bracket (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cateye-ld120500au100ld6001000-tail-light-bracket/) for the rear light.
Therefore you have the option to replace/recharge the batteries after 10 hours, or be safe in the knowledge that even when the beam goes duller you still have enough light to get home safely.
Seat post: yes
