If you are looking for a mountain bike that can comfortably negotiate bumpy, cross-country, singletracks yet still be quick and nimble on the road, then a hardtail bike is for you. Hard tail mountain bikes have front suspension, weigh less and are more pedal efficient when the terrain is smooth, than full suss bikes. A good number of single track racers still use hardtails for these reasons. At wiggle, we stock a wide variety of hardtail mountain bike brands including Felt, Focus, GT, Kona, Mongoose, Saracen and more. So if you are searching for superb, quality spec hardtail mountain bikes at great value with a legendary service to match, then you've come to the right place.
Charge is a British-based cycle brand, drawing on years of experience to create practical and refined bicycles for the everyday cyclist. Cycling has exploded in popularity and so has consumer choice – choosing a bicycle can be confusing, so Charge decided to strip back the product line and launch the three bike categories that define Charge best: the Plug, Grater, and Cooker. The Plug is a multipurpose road bike with progressive geometry and fast-rolling large volume tyres that provide superior comfort, speed and durability. The Grater takes the performance aspects of the Plug frame and adds the functionality benefits of mudguards and flat bars for urban use. The all-new Cooker bikes are designed around the new 27Plus wheels – blending the speed and rollover of a 29er, the cushioning of a fat bike tyre and the quick agility of a 27.5, all with unparalleled grip on any terrain. This is the new standard in off-road biking.
The size chart below will get you on the right size bike. Experienced riders may also wish to refer to the geometry chart for more detail.
Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
