FAST delivery, great bike for what you paid I moved to Glasgow one month ago, and I was looking for a quick commuter. After a long deliberation time, I realise that wiggle was the place in which I get the most for my money. Also the delivery has been REALLY fast, and the bike arrived in mint condition. Talking about the bike, the apareance is a 10 out 10. Little details make it appear a much more expensive bike, and the quality is really good . However it´s heavier that I expected, about 11.4 kg with pedals, yet it´s very fast on the road. The only problem is the front derailleur touches the crank, but I think I could fix it easily. Without any doubts Charge is a great brand. The only cons about wiggle: the bike don´t arrived with the specified pedals but with one really bad ones made of plastic. That´s why I don´t put the 5 star rating. 15 November 2012

Awesome commuter/city bike I needed a bike for commuting to work since I was tired of riding my bulky cruiser and don't want to use my mountain bikes as commuter bikes. I found this bike and the prize was a bargain, so i ordered it immediately. I have been riding it for a couple of weeks now and i'm very impressed. It's agile and very fast. It handles like a mtb with extra speed. I like the wide handlebars since i'm used to that width. The gears ar smooth and the brakes ok and does it's job. Maybe i will consider hydraulic brakes later on. The pedals that comes with the bike is not good so i recommend updating those ASAP. I put on MKS Lambda which works well. I'm 170cm, and 77cm inseam and got the small. That works well for me. The colour is more goldish than silver and sparkles nicely in the sun. This is a complete bargain now when it's on sale. Buy it while it lasts. 02 November 2012

Quality commuter with cool paint job I bought the Scourer on a whim really, but it fitted the bill of a general purpose all-rounder when I neither wanted to use my road bike or MTB. Build quality is good, the frame is tidy and well finished with neat welds and plain old round profile tubes which I like. Some have complained of heel catch issues on the rear stays but I've not had any problems myself, though I tend to ride 'heels-out'. There are a full compliment of rack and mudguard mounts so it's a pretty versatile frame. The paint job is much more glittery in the metal than the press shots suggest, so those with conservative tastes take note. The drive train is a mix of Shimano road and mountain parts and works well together. Shifting is agricultural in feel but never fails to do it's job with the minimum of fuss. The chainset is a compact but with a huge rear cassette - the lowest gear combination of 34:34 will get you up the North face of the Eiger. The Shimano mechanical brakes were pretty lifeless, poor lever feel and little bite. I've heard they improve with use but they aren't a patch on even a budget set of hydraulics. Ride wise it can be summed up as sprightly. It's a bit of an odd one to start with, coming with a very short top tube for it's size, crazy wide bars and a mid length stem it feels like a bizarre trail bike when you initially ride it, yet it picks up speed very quickly and can be hussled along at near road bike pacing. It encourages out of the saddle pedal mashing and is fun to carve in and out of obstacles, so I can see it being a good city bike. I've cut the bars down and fitted a longer stem to mine since my commute is more rural, but it's still fun to ride like a hooligan. All in all it's a practical all-rounder, but with a fun streak thrown in. 29 October 2012

Bargain of the year! I saw the deal on this bike with Wiggle, and thought what a bargain. Made a few online review enquiries, and there were some mixed reviews, but I thought for almost half price, I can fix any niggles and still have a bargain bike. So far after 20 miles, there is nothing to complain about, the frame is light enough for my needs, and the components are better than expected (I am also using full XTR on my MTB). My only complaint is that its now getting dark too early in the evenings! Excellent service from Wiggle! 08 October 2012

I put this item in my basket yesterday priced £329. I came to pay for it today and realized its cost had nearly doubled, at £629.
Is this now the cost? If so I shall obviously stop my purchase and the purchase of the Felt mountain bike I was going to add.

Answer:

I'm 5'9" and went for the medium. The top tubes are very short on these though, so I had to fit a longer stem to correct the reach.

You'd probably want the large.
