The Gazzetta Della Strada is a tourers bike that is packed with all the features you need. Front rack, full front and rear mudguards, 16 gears and Shimano components all make for a bike that travels fast, is comfortable to ride and won't disappoint.
The frame is manufactured from Columbus cromoly steel and brings a comfortable ride quality which is still sort after by many. The frame comes drilled with rear rack eyelets so enabling you to fix a rear rack in the future, but does come fitted with a front rack. Also, it does come fitted with front and rear mudguards for added rider comfort and also features double water bottle bosses.
The gearing is thanks to Shimano Claris components and provides you with 16 gears. The FSA Vero compact chainset also makes life easier on longer steady rides and when the roads head skywards.
Braking is taken care of via the Claris shift levers and also Tektro's safety brakes - located at the centre of the bar. These brakes provide another braking/hand position and is very useful when on long rides and your wanting a different hand position on the bars.
The wheels are a mix of Alex rims and Cinelli/Shimano hubs. Not the lightest, but extremely dependable and strong. A set of Kenda KWest tyres (700x25c) complete the wheel package off nicely.
Finally, a selection of Cinelli parts rounds off the Gazzetta Della Strada. It's a great bike and solely designed for touring at your own leisure - no one else's.

Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
