A new creation, a single-speed cyclocross frame made with Columbus Zonal triple-butted aluminium tubing. Quick, responsive, precise, outfitted with a monocoque carbon 1-1/2" fork that absorbs vibrations and improves riding performance.
|Steerer:||Tapered 1 1/8 - 1 1/2|
|Wheel Size:||700c (622)|
Quick, responsive, precise, outfitted with a monocoque carbon 1-1/2" fork that absorbs vibrations and improves riding performance. With greater wheel clearance, this allows less possibility of mud catching so making fro a more trouble-free ride. Also, the rear triangle is shorter than that of a traditional cyclocross frame - makes for easy handling even on the most technical routes.
Cyclocross frames are similar in appearance to a road frame, but they have more clearance for mud to pass between the tyre and frame and avoid clogging. Other features are cantilever bosses for Canti's or V-brakes, along with a higher bottom bracket for clearance when riding over obstacles, more upright angles designed for faster handling at lower speeds and the cables usually run along the top tube so they do not get in the way when you have to carry the bike. Cross frames can be built up into commuters or winter hack bikes as they have ample room for mudguards, their upright riding position and fast handling suits city traffic, when compared to a road race bike, they should also be fine for winter club runs.
Cinelli's fame dates back to 1919 with typical Italian flare and beautiful designs. Cinelli frames and racing bikes are legendary in racing history. The carbon monocoque Ram and Bat handlebars benefit from the latest carbon technology. The chic urban Cinelli Bootleg Rat bikes, reflective and gel cork bar tape are niche specialities.
