Great reliable tyre Great reliable tyre. This is on my commuting bike and stands up to the punishment. The reflective sidewall tape is a great addition. Tyres last me for 4000+ kilometres of commuting in rail hail and shine. Plenty of wet grip. Only had one flat and that was a stick piercing right through the tyre and tube. Nothing would have stopped it. 07 May 2013
Very quiet Ok, I can't give a full review as I've not used these tyres on the road but with the bad weather I use my bike on the trainer indoors. It's a mtb with knobbly tyres and on the trainer the noise is deafening! I fitted the Continental tyres and there is nearly no noise at all. Also, with the knobbly tyres the resistance setting at lowest is equivalent to the third setting with the Continental tyres so the rolling resistance is a lot lower which I expect to feel on the road - when the weather improves! 07 February 2013
Great tyre for daily commuting I did over 1200 miles last year on this tyre and they are showing very little wear. Only one puncture too. I would usually expect 3 or 4 in the year on the thorny country lanes I ride. I have just bought a pair for my wife's bike. 08 January 2013
Chunky road tyre Nice sturdy road tyre that absorbs most of the bumps and doesn't slow you down. Nice reflective tape on the rim too. 13 December 2012
A very durable tire What a great start to road riding,it's slick exterior allows not to much grip but is there when needed.... Fantastic 07 November 2012
looks great and very fast good tyres very slick just started using them and going great. 10 August 2012
Good modification for mountain bikes. I replaced the off road tyres on my leisure mountain bike with two of these road tyres. I spend 95% of my riding time on the road and find that these tyres make the bike much more comfortable with less rolling resistance, while keeping the robust nature of the bike. I thought that they were also great value from Wiggle. 28 July 2012
a style change Fitted these as a break from the usual knobbly off-road rubber. Made a new bike out it, much smoother and looks pretty cool with the reflector bands. 10 March 2012
GOOD TYRE This tyre suits me and the type of riding I'm doing just fine. Using an old mountain bike to commute to work on. Plenty of grip on the road and no punctures as yet. Comfortable and reasonably fast for a mtb tyre. I like the reflective sidewalls for added safety but they also look good too. 14 January 2012

I'm looking to change my mtb 26x2.1 tyres to some road tyres. If I fit these narrower tyres will I also need to change to a diff size inner tube? Thanks. Craig.
Country : United Kingdom
Answer:I can confirm that depending on your inner tube depends on if you will need to change the inner tubes. If you have one that is 1.5 to 2.1 you will not need to change but if it is 2.0 to 2.75 you will need to get narrower ones. I hope this helps.

I can't see any of these tyres at the size of my existing tyres, does the difference matter?
Country : United Kingdom
Answer:The width of the tyre that you use is mostly affected by the width of the rim however, dropping from a 1.95 inch width to a 1.75 inch width should not cause you any issues.
