Being the cheapest pedal in the Eggbeater range the C(or Chrome) has a chromoly spindle, stainless steel springs and and sealed ball bearings and a bushing.
In conclusion...
These pedals are about as stiff as the shimano but offer better mud clearance and are lighter weight.
