MATERIALS: A composition of 3 materials, an expert blend of 3 fibres employed and carefully measured to obtain a precise goal. The aim was to increase stiffness without impairing comfort, to lighten whilst maintaining a unique stability. The composition is made up of 55% TI 800 fibre, 35% TI 1000, and 10% XN60. The KING RS increases the STW (stiffness to weight) value by 25% compared to traditional competition racing bikes.
SIZES: The new KING RS is available in 9 sizes, all with soft sloping geometry and integrated adjustable seat post.
DESIGN: Refined lines, purity of form. Elegance has always been De Rosa's primary objective both in the design and the graphics. Cleanliness, elegance, technical content, perfect geometry.

Road frames have come a long way in recent years with new advancements in technology and materials. Carbon fibre, aluminium and titanium are all widely used now as well as the more traditional steel tubesets. They all have their own advantages: aluminium offers good performance at a reasonable price, titanium offers ultimate performance at a premium price while carbon fibre offers superb comfort and performance at intermediate cost. It is not uncommon for the materials to be mixed to give the benefits of all the materials in one frame - a carbon fibre rear end on an aluminium frame, for example.
