Being responsive and using your power efficiently are key to the design of the Merak Evolution and this comes through in the oversized bottom bracket and headtube areas which transfer every watt of power into forward motion. And of course, like any De Rosa, it looks amazing and will be the pride of your club run!
The De Rosa tuned geometry strikes the perfect balance making it excellent for head down racing or just embarking on an epic sportive ride. Manufactured from Hi modulus carbon fibre, the frame is light, yet stiff. The bike, with its aero Tricolour carbon seat post and head-turning graphics features some of the latest design features, innovations and components. Campagnolo supply the groupset thanks to their Athena 11 speed and Fulcrum supply the wheels which are wrapped with Continental Ultra Sport tyres. With 22 gears available to you, you should find a gear for every cycling occasion or challenge.
Also, the BB30 chainset is a compact and provides lower gearing for better climbing and means even on hillier terrain you shouldn't find yourself longing for a triple.
The Merak Athena is a must for the rider wanting more out of their cycling be it from racing or competing in a sportive event and is a pleasure to ride.
