A good quality product - Excellent for the price
Bought this for my wife's new Merida to make some fine adjustments to the riding position. Went for the 60mm, down from the original 90mm. The fitting was straightforward and easy. The quality is excellent and it matches the colour combination of the bike. More important it provides a slight but important improvement in riding comfort. It does make the steering a little more twitchy but this is offset by improved reach, grip and access to brakes. It looks and feels well made and appears to be one of the cheapest stems available. Wiggle deliverywas excellent as always and my wife likes the Haribos!

It's a stem
...it's a perfectly functional stem at a great price. Can be flipped for slightly different angles.

Seems strong enough but relatively heavy. Didn't cost a lot though.

I have just put a 100mm one on the Boardman Comp to replace the 120mm it came with, it fits well and makes the bike the right length for me.My only comment is that as there is no cut away on the front of this stem, it makes centring the bars a little more difficult than it is with the standard Boardman stem.

Providing the bike has 31.7 mm diameter bars it should fit. Take an adjustable spanner, tighten jaws so they scrape the bars then measure the jaws with a good ruler or similar to check the dia.When fitting, make sure you tighten the head bolt (but not too much) before you tighten the stem clamps, then test for steering play.

You would need to check the fork steerer diameter and bar diameter of your Cannondale. This stem is for use with a 1 1/8" steerer (28.6mm) and a 31.8mm bar clamp size. No, you need 31.8mm clamp size (over size bars), the bars you have chosen are 26mm. The Deda RHMO1 bars would be compatible or the FSA Compact which are a nice alternative.Country : United Kingdom
