really good back pack. I was using a cheap pack with the resulting sweaty back but this really does get rid of that problem its really comfy and you can tell its been designed for use on a bike. It feels quite heavy when you pick it up but once you put it on your back you forget its there. Over all a top notch pack

A Really Nice Bag
This bag is very well made and comfortable to wear. The mesh straps are great in summer. The waist pads are small enough not to flap around when casually carrying.
The spring steel frame does a great job of keeping it off your back. I bought it to use instead of my Vaude as I wanted one a bit smaller. It is small too. Big enough though for a day trip. If you use it for a commute then you can just fit A4 books in there and at a pinch a 13" computer.
Comes with a helmet net and waterproof cover stuffed into an upside down pockets near the bottom. The main outside is just big enough for a wallet.

Very happy
This backpack is fantastic, looks great, has everything a rider could ask for and is priced very well. Very comfortable. It's on the heavy side of light but with the way it moulds to your back the weight of it disappears.

Great bag for day trips
Using it for commuting to and from work as well as day trips.
Just the right size for commuting, a few clothes etc,
For day trips the support for the hydration pack is great.

This bag should have plenty of space for an Ipad, however we could not guarantee it.
I appears and sounds like this backpack has the Aircomfort back system (spring steel frame with mesh - awesome) and that is corroborated by the Deuter website so far as i can tell, but image for product shows Airstripes system - can someone tell me which it is?

Its has no bladder included. You need to purchase that seperatly it can hold up to 3lit I believe - I have a 2lit one in there - It has all the mountings for the bladder tubes etc..

Does the Deuter EXP come complete with the hydration bladder which the Deuter website indicates. The wiggle listing suggests compatible, I.e. doesn't come with a bladder whereas the Deuter website states the EXP says " Streamer 100 oz / 3.0 L BPA-Free Hydration System included. BPA-Free Hydration System included."

I ride to Portsmouth and meet a mate to go running with, and so I end up running with my water pack, bike shoes and bits in it.You have to strap it up tighter than you probably do on the bike, but it's uber-comfortable!

I need a backpack for bike journeys and can't decide bewteen these two back packs. Both get high praise and appear similar; they both have helmet storage and a water proof cover.. Both are the same price and because of the price tag I want to make sure before I buy.

I have a Deuter Race Air and bought it purely for cycling. After many months of usage it has still not let me down, is big enough for my clothes and lunch but small enough to allow for fast riding. From what I see the Bike 1 is bigger and possibly not as streamlined as the Race Air. The Bike 1 is also quite a bit bigger. The Race has a very comfortable support system but is slightly heavier.Country : Australia
