An Ipad would definitely fit. Not a full size laptop though.
Answer:
It would fit but would sit in the middle of the bag as the frame curves opposite to your back and as such slightly shrinks the available space. You would definitely want something to protect your iPad around it.

Does the Deuter EXP come complete with the hydration bladder which the Deuter website indicates. The wiggle listing suggests compatible, I.e. doesn't come with a bladder whereas the Deuter website states the EXP says " Streamer 100 oz / 3.0 L BPA-Free Hydration System included. BPA-Free Hydration System included."

I have a Deuter Race Air and bought it purely for cycling. After many months of usage it has still not let me down, is big enough for my clothes and lunch but small enough to allow for fast riding. From what I see the Bike 1 is bigger and possibly not as streamlined as the Race Air. The Bike 1 is also quite a bit bigger. The Race has a very comfortable support system but is slightly heavier.
