Deuter are Germany's leading cycle lugguage and backpack manufacturer. In Germany they are a household name, making bags for climbers and hikers for over 100 years. During this time they have supplied many climbing expeditions and were one of the first companies to make back packs and day packs specifically for cyclists and mountain bikers.
About Rucksacks
Wiggle lists a large range of rucksacks, or backpacks as they are often called, these include traditional packs which are ideal for cycle commuters or mountain bikers wanting to carry larger loads. Some rucksacks / backpacks have the facility to fit a hydration bladder, making them a great choice for all day rides. Ideal for both on and off the bike, cross country riding, commuting or riding to the gym, a rucksack / backpack is the ideal choice for carrying items on you.

Magazine reviews for Deuter Trans Alpine 30 Rucksack 2008
Review from What MTB
This was the biggest bag on test, and even on the back of the tallest tester it still looked huge. The bag itself is noticeably heavy and will swallow pretty much everything without a burp of complaint. There are plenty of options to help keep the load packed stable, though - side compression straps squash the bag down, while the front retention system will take helmets or jackets with equal ease. The back system works as well as anything could do with thirty litres of kit hanging off it, holding the bulky mass still and steady over the roughest ground and the wide hip belt puts weight in the right place.
In conclusion...
The bag behemoth that'll carry pretty much anyhthing you'll need.
