dhb has responded to the feedback of our riders and improved the staple garment for any cyclist's wardrobe. We have refined the dhb fit model to a more athletic fit giving greater comfort in the saddle. The Aeron shorts are built from Ceylon performance stretch fabric manufactured by the leading Italian fabric mill. The Nylon-Elastane composition provides positive compression, which allows muscles to work effectively whilst allowing excellent breathability. The Fabric is smooth to touch yet is durable and engineered to work hard. Elasticated leg openings with dhb silicone grippers help to prevent the short leg from rising up to the crotch. At the heart of the short is the Elastic Interface ‘Race LT’cycling pad. The pad has a contoured foam construction, designed to keep the rider comfortable in the saddle.

About Lycra Cycling Shorts
Cycle shorts offer unrestricted movement on the bike with the added benefit of a chamois for comfort. They are the traditional cycling leg wear for any distance rider. Lycra shorts hold their internal pad in the ideal position throughout the ride, offering comfort and cushioning for both on and off road riding. Lycra shorts stretch with your body so there are no seams to rub you up the wrong way or restrict your pedalling motion. They are lightweight in material and since there is only one layer of thin fabric, they breathe well and keep you cool on hot days, or can be used under a pair of winter tights. Higher end models will have more panels and will generally fit better, a good pair of shorts is essential for longer rides and combined with a chamois crème make a wise investment.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
I'd go for an XL for you. Because they are Lycra, they will hug your body a bit better, it's better to get the bibs and legs long enough for your body.
I would probably go with the XL and if they don't fit wiggle had a great returns policy.
Cons. are there any....?
Not sure when you posted your question but all I can say is pick up a pair of bib shorts and give them a go.
If you are riding more than a few km's at a time bibs are definitely the way to go. The additional comfort and fit afforded by the bib elements will make your ride that much more pleasant.
Like yourself I was unsure at the start but after the first pair there was no looking back.
How are you? I know it's a dumb question but may I ask if this bib short is thin? I have bought some Dhb bib shorts and they are all thick (just for winter) so need to buy thin for summer.
I wouldn't use the word 'thin' to describe them though.
- 5 ft and 10.5 inch height
- 30 inch waist
What size would be more ideal: small or medium?
Im 5ft10 with waist and chest at 42inch.
I',m totally confused as to what size to get. any help?
I find them a good fit just a bit tight on the thigh
