With the widest variety of products on offer - each with a considered specification, the dhb Performance range provides extensive choice for all-season riders.
The dhb Aeron Race cycling shorts are one step up from the Aeron. The shorts are constructed from ‘Action 205g’ performance fabric. The slight increase in weight from the Aeron shorts means more compression on the legs. Greater compression provides a feeling of strength and security whilst also improving blood flow and reducing stress on the muscles.
The shorts feature a Cytech Elastic Interface ‘Giro Air’ cycling pad within the package. The air pad offers anatomical shaping, an excellent level of comfort and has been engineered to give improved airflow.
The pad is designed to be comfortable for 3-5hrs riding with an indisputable reputation for durability. Intense White, Blue or Red contrast colour panels give the shorts dynamic styling yet keep them subtle enough to complement an array of jerseys.
Available in: Black-White / Black-Red / Black-Blue / Black-White

About Lycra Cycling Shorts
Cycle shorts offer unrestricted movement on the bike with the added benefit of a chamois for comfort. They are the traditional cycling leg wear for any distance rider. Lycra shorts hold their internal pad in the ideal position throughout the ride, offering comfort and cushioning for both on and off road riding. Lycra shorts stretch with your body so there are no seams to rub you up the wrong way or restrict your pedalling motion. They are lightweight in material and since there is only one layer of thin fabric, they breathe well and keep you cool on hot days, or can be used under a pair of winter tights. Higher end models will have more panels and will generally fit better, a good pair of shorts is essential for longer rides and combined with a chamois crème make a wise investment.

Large or Xlarge ?
Hope this helps
Would think small.
Basically used Assos cream, then put these on (as undies) and shorts over the top.
Three eight hour rides - no worries.
The risk with adding shorts over the top is that you get rubbing.
These are perfectly comfortable as they are.
I am 5'11" with 36-38" waist and 41" hips. Thighs measure 20" above the knee and some 26" at the meatiest part.
I am inclined towards XL but there are some who still insist L. I want them to be snug - the compression for longer rides is welcomed.
If you can face it, I'd suggest trying some tri-shorts which have a thinner chamois but will dry quicker.
The 3rd option is a tri-suit which you can wear under your wetsuit then cycle and run in it. Agaian, it won't have quite as thick a pad as the dedicated cycling shorts but will dry out pretty quickly.
It's really a trade-off between comfort and function.
Could you recommend another pair of shorts with a much shorter inside leg please.
They are average leg length. No different to any other knicks I have worn.
