The female specific version of the popular Amberley Waterproof Jacket which boasts features often found on jackets twice the price. Reflective panels on the front, sides and back give it 360 degree reflectivity while pit zips and rear venting provide enhanced ventilation. Pocket space is generous with a zipped rear pocket. A double storm flap on the front zip helps keep you warm and dry and don't forget the fleece-lined collar, internal mesh lining, Velcro cuffs and drawstring hem which are just some of the features which have made this jacket a real hit. It is made from nylon ripstop fabric with Teflon coating and has fully taped seams.

Review from What MTB
Made form a rip stop nylon with taped seams and a water repellent coating, this jacket shrugs off even heavy rain without any worries, while the mostly mesh lining help distribute your sweat to keep you comfy inside. The fabric isn't in the top league for breathability but as well as the full length front zip you get super long pit zips, yoke vents, adjustable cuffs and drawstring hem to control airflow. We snagged our Lycra on the Velcroed-down storm flap, but they shouldn't be a problem as long as you're careful. With quite a generous cut it doesn't pack down particularly small, but for safety our hi-vis version is hard to beat.
In conclusion...
Of the Lower priced men's jackets, the one that stands out from the crowd for combining a high level of performance with a good price is the dhb Amberley. It keeps the rain out well and comes with enough adjustability for you to either seal the air out or let it flow in, and the generous cut makes it an impressive all-round choice.

The Amberley is cut from nylon ripstop fabric that has Teflon coating and taped seams to keep you dry. It's not the most breathable of jackets, but dhb have employed several tactics to help with this. Firstly they have used a mesh lining to help circulate air and remove sweat from the skin. Unlike some this hasn't made the jacket ultra heavy, offering a good balance between weight and function. Secondly dhb have added extra ventilation with long pit zips, Velcro adjust cuffs and a drawstring hem that all help with temperature control and airflow to keep you warm and dry. The front zip isn't sealed, but a large front storm has been added to deal with drafts and water. At this price the quality and relaxed fit make it very useable across the cycling spectrum and a great value jacket whether commuting, training on a budget or getting muddy
In conclusion...
One of the best value waterproofs available.
