These shorts had the feel of a pair that cost more than twice their meagre price, with soft material giving a snug fit that keeps the rider comfortable.
The multiple panels give the shorts a well-contoured shape, while the high back and wide shoulder straps mean comfort is extended to the rest of the garment.
The chamois felt a little large when first wearing the shorts, but after a couple of washes it became very comfortable. It gives plenty of coverage, extending down the inner thigh so the seam is positioned below the area where the thigh can rub on the saddle, or where the material can bunch up in your groin.
Two reflective dhb logos mean there's a small safety feature while the leg grippers do grip.
In conclusion...
New clothing brand dhb is going for the bargain market, and at just under £30 for a set of bib-shorts, it could have it cornered.
