This year we've added sizing options in place of last years "one size fits all". The dhb Earnley base layer is super stretchy, lightweight, tight fitting and highly functional.
The concept behind the seamless body design is that it's closer fitting than a conventional base layer, which means it offers additional muscle support, the reduced amount of seams in the garment allows for greater freedom of movement and reduced rubbing on the skin.
The dhb Ciba fabric is superb at wicking away moisture and maintaining a core body temperature. The close fitting design and multi blend knit fabric offers the very best in moisture movement and is incredibly quick drying.
dhb clothing is used by the riders in Team Wiggle and the Charge Team Riders

The dhb brand was first born in Hampshire, England. The founders – d, h and b decided they didn’t want to just sell bicycle gear but they also wanted to be involved with every aspect of it’s design and development. Five years later, with international expansion all products are still ridden extensively by the in-house R&D team in the local South Downs region. dhb is an Italian brand of clothing that is imported exclusively to the UK by Internet retailer Wiggle. As with its Focus bikes, Wiggle pass on the savings from buying in bulk and direct from the manufacturer to you.
A baselayer is vital to a successful layering of clothing throughout the year. A baselayer should sit next to the skin and remove sweat as effectively as possible, passing the moisture onto the next layer of clothing to deal with.
The Earnley(formerly known as the Compton) baselayer is made from Ciba fabric, a mix of 50% polyester, 45% nylon and 5% spandex, which gives a tight fitting and stretchy layer. It's a good shape for riding, and the lack of seams allows the material to sit closer to the body for a better fit. Additionally, the shaping of different materials in key areas is claimed to offer muscle support - though I can't really say that I noticed this in use.
However, the jersey fits extremely well and is indeed tight fitting everywhere, and in use the baselayer removed moisture well. You don't expect many features from a baselayer, and indeed the Earnley keeps it simple. We like.
In conclusion...
This is a top performing baselayer, at a decent price. Enough said.
