This is a fully wheeled, heavy duty bike transport and travel case which is designed to offer peace of mind against less than sensitive baggage handlers. Even on the rare occasion that the box is damaged, the bike remains safe and sound inside this rugged, resilient box. Its thick interior padding and solid, heavy duty exterior work hard to ensure your bike arrives at your destination in the same state it was packed in. Security is taken care of with key locks and an additional combination lock.

Hard Case bike boxes should protect your pride and joy on airplane journeys where baggage handlers can be notoriously careless. Even the toughest cases do not always survive a journey unblemished, but look for models with plenty of individual padding so that even if the case gets damaged the bike won't!

All the 'fragile' labels in the world won't safeguard your bike from a really ham-fisted baggage handler: you need solid protection when taking your pride and joy on a plane. This dhb case provides just that with a strong, plastic shell and a deep, corrugated foam inner.
To get your bike in, you'll need to take the wheels off and store them in the padded bags provided. You then need to remove the pedals, seatpost and bars. Finally, strap everything down and lock the case. You get two key locks - a combination lock to keep everything secure and additional clamps on the sides...it has four wheels and a decent handle so you can pull it along most surfaces without any trouble.
Hardcore protection to keep your bike safe
The DHB case is a good example of a hard case that's not expensive, unlike most which are priced quite high. The amount you want to spend dictates the technical features of the case and often the weight.
On the outside it has wheels for use at the airport and two locks for security too. Internally the high density padding and frame straps hold the bike in place and wheel bags prevent scratches etc.
With tough and bash resistant outer and plenty of internal padding the DHB case is a secure way of transporting your bike.
The heavy-duty case structure and lots of padding on the inside keep your bike perfectly protected. Its relatively compact size is an attractive feature, but means that big-forked downhill bikes are a struggle to fit without disassembly.
Think of this four wheeled hard case as extra insurance against abuse from baggage handlers.
