Warm winter jacket
Because this jacket is waterproof it also insulates a lot. I only use it in temperatures around 0-10 C.
Really nice quality

Good qualitly, excellent price
As with all DHB this is a great quality jacket that wont break the bank.
I bought this as a present for my husband and it is a really good cycling fit, that despite not being a 'breathable' Gortex, does not feel like you are wearing a bin bag.
Good colour selection and true sizes.

Best jacket I have owned for sports etc.
lightweight, warm, windproof and versatile - just great and great value too
31 July 2015
This arrived fast, is a good close fit and is well made.
20 July 2015
Good product, highly visible
Great value, the mesh does help a little with sweat removal, nice Velcro adjustment on the cuffs, red is eye catching day and night, the back could be a little longer for me

Good value jacket
Good value purchase. Good fit for on the bike, with nice features like the high neck at the back. Kept me warm and dry throughout the winter, and I won't need to replace it for the coming winter. it has good vents as well, which is good because you do heat up in the jacket.

Great design, beautiful fit, versatile and well made. I love my jacket and have even bought two more for my sons.

Great heavy-duty waterproof jacket
Got this jacket a year ago. Took out to a number of rides in UK, France and Portugal. And it did delivered. Can't find any faults really. It is big and heavy-ish, but is made to tackle really bad autumn/winter weather.

Perfect for spring/autumn wet rides
Great light jacket. Impressively waterproof. Comfortable collar. Good for cooler wet-weather rides..Quite a neat fit - 6 ft, 82kg wearing a Large. A little bulky if folded but does just fit in rear pouch of cycle top, tho not much room for anything else.

dhb EQ2.5 Waterproof Cycling Jacket
Really like this jacket. Fits well and is waterproof. Haven't worn it for a long day in the saddle yet, but so far the ventilation seems good.
29 May 2015
The jacket give good comfort but to fit it gets a bit short cut on the back.

Toasty Warm And Comfortable
After requiring warmer clothes over the winter weather, I purchased this jacket. It keeps you really warm during the cold days. It has velcro to close up the sleeves and it has a huge pocket to store your phone and food.
I would give this 5 stars, but on muddier rides I put my phone in the back pocket but it still managed to get through. Other than that, I would recommend for anyone looking for a warm jacket.

Does the job, but need more sizing options.
Been a great jacket, plenty of ventilation, good seams. The inner mesh pocket in the rear pocket could do with an upgrade and I keep getting caught in it. Also could do with extra sizing options mainly longer jackets without increasing the chest and waist size. Having said this I would purchase this jacket again.

Nice and warm
I bought this to keep me warm and dry. There are zips under the arms to allow for heat loss as it can get too hot at times. Good fit and I would recommend it. I

The right size ?
I bought the medium, which I usually draws. The jacket fits well in arms, but is a little bit short in the back. But around the armpits sits too tight! Difficult to fit with a base layer beneath. Would I buy again, I would choose Large. Have not ridden much in the rain so that I can determine the function.

Great jacket, waterproof with plenty of ventilation
27 April 2015
Does the job well
I have used this jacket for an early morning commute to work. Whilst I have not used it in wet weather it certainly keeps the wind out and fits well.

Waterproof on a budget but has shortfalls.
This coat has proved itself to be waterproof on many long rides in the rain, the coat is equipped with vents under the arms which is a nice feature. It has only two pockets though, one inside which just about fits an iPhone 5 into and a large rear one. More pockets would be handy. It's major downfall is the fit. I bought a size larger than usual and it is a good fit on my torso and the arm length is good, however the arms are way to baggy and flap in the wind a lot. The rear of the jacket is. It long enough to cover my rear fully.
18 April 2015
good quality but short at the back
It's a nice jacket and good quality but strange sizes. i'm normally a large but had to get an XXL in the end. Also the jacket is way too short at the back so you're soon wet from wheel spray.
12 April 2015
Very good jacket, nice fit. Keeps the wind and rain off well. Used it about 10 times so far and looks new still
10 April 2015
Keeps me dry
Bought this product for a north to south Wales 3 day ride. It kept me warm and dry. The size is a bit snug but there is as a result little flapping going down hill or cycling in the wind.
09 April 2015
Way more impressive than I thought it would dh-be
Having been a "member of " Assos for many years, "sponsoring myself" with their products has become in compatible with the foamily financial demands. Looking for a close-to-race-fit what weather jacket for community in Devon, I took a risk in ordering a "lesser" brand. Spent way less than half of what I could have with Italian or Swiss manufacturers but ended up with something every bit as good. Great design and not a flap in the wind to be heard or felt. Impressed enough to recommend. I'm a standard XL ex rugby player shape too! 6'6" and 46" chest.

Great jacket, keep me warm and dry!
Had my first wet ride with this jacket on Easter weekend 2015, really impressed.
Took it mountain biking and it didn't let me know. The rain was coming in from all directions and this jacket didn't let a drop of water through!!
Only problem for me is the jacket isn't long enough in the back to cover my bum! I'm around 5'8'' and purchased a large. I have a 44 - 46 inch chest and find the jacket fits snug!
05 April 2015
real shame - ordered XXL as existing Altura jacket is XXL, nice looking jacket but by comparision to Altura it is medium size.
returned immediately - feel that this should have been highlighted on site as complete and utter waste of time
see that someone else has also recently commented on this problem

Nice and light
great wind breaker. Wear a layer on your arms if you are sweating like crazy on a cold day as the liner doesn't insulate you when the jacket starts to stick to you in the wind sucking all your warmth away. I do like this jacket tho.
27 March 2015
Watch out for sizes!
Had to return this product as tried XL and it was too small then tried XXL and still too small. Never tried a XXL in any clothes before. When I checked the sizing information against other brands it was completely different. Be careful when choosing this product that the sizes are correct for you.
25 March 2015
Very comfortable jacket for a commute.
The mesh lining helps this to stay comfortable on a regular short commute. The arms are long enough but I do find my Large version a little short in the body (I'm 181 cm).
23 March 2015
At last - the dampness stays on the outside!
The key feature for me is the minimal amount of moisture build-up compared with previous garments - helped by the effective vents. This has allowed me to complete rides whilst still wearing it. When coupled with a impressive quality of construction, a comfortable fit (175cm = medium) and a good value price, I would recommend it.

I find DHB kit can be a bit hit and miss but this jacket is excellent. Great fit on the bike, excellent wind and rain protection. Recommended.
13 March 2015
Good value for money
Good under water, stretch fit, only downsize is item has no hook for the rain, but overall quality is good.
13 March 2015
I have a 41-42" chest and 32" waist and the large fits me fine with one layer underneath, anymore and it'd be a squeeze. For someone your height etc I'd recommend the XXL but everyone is differen't with regards to layering etc

Hey, same height here, just got the Large and the back is somewhat short for me, especially in the drops. I don't know if the XL would be much better, however, as then you'd have to consider the added bulkiness and extra sleeve length. While not ideal,I am managing with the L.

I'b same height slightly bigger chest 43' and need to return the Large. I could zip it up but it was extremely fitted over just a regular formal shirt, so no chance under base layers.Tight on the chest and neck. Not that long on the lower back either. Unfortunately your probably smack inbetween L and XL. Order both and send one back, but id say your going to be an XL
Hi there. Please can you tell me what the difference in arm length is between the Large and X Large. I ordered a Large. It is a snug fit, arms are perfect, shoulder fit is a bit restrictive. but it is just a bit too short on the back. Would the XL be too baggy?

Hi, I have't tried both jacket sizes, but I would have ordered the larger jacket for me in as much as I need a tad bigger chest size, the arm length in the one I have is quite adequate for me. Generally I feel you need to order one size larger is my expirence Hope this helps
I'm 6'1" tall, 78kg and 33" waist 40' chest. What size should I get? Chest and waist says medium, but height says Large. I don't want a jacket that's too big on the chest, but I want one that's long enough.

im practically the same stats as you. Just brought a large. Fits ok in the body, race fit but quite short, especially in the tail. the arms though were too baggy, too long and flappy. Just not a good fit which is a shame as quality seems great. hope this helps.

I am 186cm high with 84vm inside leg - so long in the body - and found the jacket too short back and front and gave it to a smaller mate in the end; which may answer your concern but really depends on your torso to leg ratio

Not sure which measurements you want but the front measurements of the large size of this jacket are 24" / 61cm from bottom to top of the collar (zipped up) or alternately, 25" / 63.5cm from the bottom to the shoulder seam.
Back measurements are: 32" / 81cm from the bottom to the top of the collar or 29.5" / 75cm from the bottom to the seam on the shoulder.
HI. I'm 184 cm and 66 kg. 96 cm chest and 31 Inches waist. I actually prefer Next to skin fit. may the small size will fit to me? the medium and large size is out of stock now, and I need to order it now
I currently have a DHB Signal jacket and I'm not happy at all about its fit. Chest is much too large and flap if there is any wind while the arms are too short for me. I also have a castelli softshell that is perfectly cut, will this waterproof jacket fit closer to the castelli as the description suggest ? Are the Arms longer than on the signal ?
I can't speak for the castelli but I'm 6' 5" and bought an XXL of this jacket.
At that size the arm length is just right but it does tend to gather under my arms when I'm not riding and I do notice a fair bit of flapping coming from under my arms whether the pit holes are unzipped or not when riding into a light head wind and, come to think of it, the flapping gets progressively worse as the head wind increases.
I'm not unduly concerned about the flapping as having been married for more than 19 years my selective hearing kicks in after the first 5 minutes or so... ;-)

I usually buy XL but had to get an XXL and it was still on the tight side of things, and it is very short in length, see my review. I am 6'4" and have a 44" chest as a guide. I found the XXL tight and short. Hope this helps.
I have just brought this jacket and i'm using it in Auckland NZ when the temp has been from 3-10degs and its not too warm at all. The zips under the arms help regulate the temp for the climbs and i'm only wearing merino thermal under it.

No its fine - I'm currently using in Sydney, and with a backpack on it can get a little warm, but you only need 1 layer underneath. There's good ventilation built in and underarm zips for extra ventilation if you need it
Buying from the US, I want to make sure the size I buy is correct. I have a Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0 SO Jacket in an XL size that fits like a glove, however, the Gore Path Jacket I have in an XL is extremely loose. The size chart for the chest for gore jackets indicates a 40″ - 411⁄2″ is a XLarge. I'm 6'2, 42L Chest, 180lbs and would prefer a form fitting size rather than loose. I imagine I should buy a Large, but paying a 50 dollar return charge is a bit ridiculous internationally. Does anyone have any advice before I buy something?
Hi there. I'm around 6'2" but only about 150 pounds, so I bought a Medium for a nice body fit. It fits just as I wanted in the body, but I have noticed it creep up a little around the back when I'm riding. If it were an inch longer in the torso, it'd be perfect. The arm length is completely fine though. Hope that helps!

I can confirm that the issue here is due to the different cut than the manufacturers use. Gore offer a snug form fit, where as DHB offer a generous fit. If you have a 42 inch chest I can confirm that a large will be a good fit for you in this DHB.

I have washed this jacket many times. Wash on 30deg with non bio. Allow to drip dry. Not had any issues with lack of waterproofing following washing. I would suggest that as there are no specific care instructions indicated on the label there are no specific care instructions.

Robbo Wash it as normal with either type of powder but do not use fabric conditioner. You will not need to iron. If you are wearing it frequently and washing it a lot then give it a wash with NicWax one a month or so.
The reason I ask is I have just washed the dhb signal jacket and all the material that cover the seams have come adrift in the wash....! (A real shame as I loved the fit and style of the signal jacket) I have since returned this item due to being faulty. I now need a new jacket to replace the signal but don't want to have the same issues......
