The fabric is from Miti who make some of the best materials often copied by many other companies. The 190g provides the perfect balance on weight and warmth, combined with a 20% elastane which allows the tight to fit more body types than those with a lower count. Along with the new fabric there has been extensive work with Cytech (leaders in pad technology and used by Assos and many others) to develop some high performance pads not seen at this price point before. The Race Pad in these tights is great for a good couple of hours in the saddle, if you are looking for a higher grade of comfort check out the Pace Roubaix Giro pad which is designed for logging some serious miles. Choosing legwear with a good pad is the perfect solution for commuting on days when the temperature is less likely to differ from your morning ride to the evening one.
