The fabric is from Miti who make some of the best materials often copied by many other companies. The 190g provides the perfect balance on weight and warmth, combined with a 20% elastane which allows the tight to fit more body types than those with a lower count. Along with the new fabric there has been extensive work with Cytech (leaders in pad technology and used by Assos and many others) to develop some high performance pads not seen at this price point before. The Performance Pad in these tights is great for a couple of hours in the saddle, if you are looking for a higher grade of comfort check out the Pace Roubaix Tour chamois pad which is designed for logging some serious miles. Choosing a bib tight with a good pad is the perfect solution for commuting on days when the temperature is less likely to differ from your morning ride to the evening one.
Offering a womens specific chamois pad means that all the comfort is there for the enthusiast Lady rider. The Performance Chamois is built around a female anatomy and is no ‘shrink it and pink it’ affair. Coming in three options waisted tight, bib tight and 3/4 bib tight all options are covered and no rider style/condition is left out.

Inside is a decent one-piece moulded Cytech Giro pad, which is a healthy thickness and well thought-out shape. Reflective trim by the ankle zips and a reflective logo on the back provide extra-visibility finishing touches. The DHB designers' work has clearly paid off – the Pace's fit and comfort is a match for considerably more expensive tights. That they've managed to get these out for £45 is nothing short of amazing – it's hard to see why you'd pay more when these are available.
