Taking the Windslam jersey format and extending the seasonality from autumn through to Early Winter. Adding the grid Roubaix fleece material significantly increases the warmth level of this garment. But it’s not just in this addition - it’s in the small details where the battle against the elements has taken place. Increasing the rise of the collar from a summer length to a snug winter one will leave the user feeling comfortable against the elements. The internal chin guard keeps the zip away from the tender skin around the neck away so limiting the possibility of irritating the skin while in use. To combat against the slightly tighter feel of the polyurethane membrane front panels, the rear has an added 5% elastane to maintain a Form Fit in the garment.

Review from Triathlon Plus
dhb's Windslam is a weather protected jersey rather than a full softshell (they do one of those too) but it's a versatile spring/autumn top at a competitive price.
The fleecy Roubaix fabric is instantly cosy, it wicks and dries reasonably quickly to cope with showers and sweat and it feels comfortable against the skin. Windproof chest, sleeves and high back flapped collar add the weatherproof element and even when sopping wet it stays pretty warm in single digit temperatures.
Fit is fairly baggy so size down for snugness as the panelled stretch fabric, taped cuffs and a silicon hem gripper keep wrists and rump covered. The two outside pockets are open topped with the right hand on also getting a small zipped stash, while the middle pocket gets a cash-bag style flap and a sweat guard lining to protect whatever you've got in there. There's a lighter weight fabric Windslam jersey for milder days too.
In conclusion...
Versatile, good value, weatherproof and suprisingly warm jersey.

Thinner and far more breathable than anything else in this test, the dhb Windslam Roubaix is included as it's an example of the bare minimum you should be thinking of wearing come the colder months. Its simple design not only keeps costs down but also makes for an exceptionally close fit. Paired with a warmer base layer, it can be worn when the temperature is in single figures if it's dry, especially when going hard. Throw on your windproof packable shell and you get even more wear from it.
In conclusion...
Good price, breathable, exceptionally close fit, excellent in cold weather.
