excellent jersey
Went out in 3c and a single baselayer with this jersey was just about perfect for warmth. It seems to have a slim fit cut, but I found the size chart to be spot on. 5'11, 42" chest and the large was spot on for me. And the zip compartment on one of the rear pockets is a nice touch for storing a mobile / keys / money.

Great jersey for the money
Bought a medium in black as im a 38/39 inch chest and fit was just right although a bit short at the front.
Worn in cold wind and cold temperature about 3/4 degrees and kept me warm all the way through a 70 mile ride.
Windslam material on the front and arms does exactly what it claims to do keep the wind off you.
I wore a long sleeve baselayer and a short sleeved jersey underneath and was comfortable without overheating.
Jersey has a good length neck to keep the wind off your neck too.
Only real let down was the depth of the rear pockets, not deep at all although the hidden zipped pocket is a good idea for your phone or money.Middle pocket has a flap over it which is a good idea if only the pockets where deeper.
After wearing this twice the sleeve had a hole where the cuff joins so returned to wiggle.
good value for the money and briilliant service from wiggle, next day delivery as ordered before 2pm for free.

Great value winter jersey.
A warm and windproof jersey, ideal for winter use. Have worn it with a base layer in temperatures down to zero and still been warm enough. The sleeves are on the long side but i think that's no disadvantage. The collar is comfortable and high, giving good coverage to the neck. I find it too warm for temperatures above 8 centigrade but there are a lot of hills where i live! Would definitely buy one again.

Good, but still too big for us skinny riders
Ordered an XS (Usually OK with XS in Sportful gear) so thought would give this a try.)
However, although it wasn't overly too big it felt rather "blowsy" and the arms were well too long.
Having said that, it seemed well made I think that it would be warm and have good wind stopping properties and very good value for money.
If you are not too skinny, definitely go for this.

Great value
I've been looking for a reasonably priced long sleeve jersey and decided on this one. Been out at 1 deg C with a couple of layers underneath andthis jersey keeps everything warm. The only issue I had is that the size commes out smaller so I sould recommend going one to two sizes larger. I'm 42" chest and needed XL which is snug. Slleves are now about two inches longer than ideal.
Still a very good product.

My new go-to jacket
My new favourite jacket, i use this for running and cycling. Keeps me warm down to 0 in the UK with only a base-layer underneath. I'm 6'1" 82kgs, normal build and i ordered a medium at first as this is my usual size. i had to get a large as the medium was too short in the torso and arms when stretched out. i don't normally suffer from ape-arms, so i guess this cut is more for pro-build cyclists and not weekend warriors!
All in all a great jacket, highly reccomended. The performace is excellent.

Windproof and good fit
It's a lite bit too windproof, I've used it during winter cycling and CC skiing. The fit is really good and with my 193cm and 92kg the XL is even long enough in the arms.
04 February 2013
Very happy
Wore it for the first time today and very happy. I am a muscular build 6ft 3 and the XXL fit is perfect. Today was quite cold and it kept me nice and warm over a 22mile undulating ride. Underneath I had a thin base layer and did nor overheat on the hill climbs. Quality seems good with convenient pockets and a sturdy front zip.

Good looking top
Good looking top and really does keep the cold wind at bay.

Toasty
When I was looking for a decent jersey/jacket it was important for me to get the size right and the past reviews were quite helpful. I am just under 6'2" (187 cm), weigh just over 13 stone (83 kg) and have a 42" chest (107 cm) and the XL fits my very well. It works well down to about 3 degrees C and protects well against the wind. The rear pockets are useful and the collar keeps the neck protected. It probably doesn't look as good as some of the Castelli jerseys/jackets but for the price it's hard to beat. Having said that I would definitely recommend this product.

Great Jersey, but be careful regarding sizing
Decent quality for the money and warm enough when combined with a good base layer. Does what it says is does. Looks good too.
As many people have already mentioned, the fit is very tight, especially length wise. I am 175 cm height, 62 kg weight with a 28” waist. I would usually order a small. I ordered a medium as the size guide states a medium is correct for my height. Other reviews suggest ordering a size up. I did not do this and it is right on the edge of being too short. However the rest of the fit is spot on. So a large, although it would have been better length wise would properly be to baggy up top.

Smart and warm
Thought it was about time I got a decent cycle jersey for winter instead of making do with various layers under a windproof.
I'm 5ft 7in and 37 chest, so I went for a medium after reading reviews saying the jersey comes up small. I'm pleased with the fit, it looks flattering but still has a bit of room to layer up underneath. Arms seem a little on the long side but that ensures no draughts at the wrists. Quality of construction looks good and has a nice soft fleecy feel with a cosy high neck line. Decent zip, easy to adjust whilst on the bike. Three good rear pockets plus a small zipped key/money/phone pocket.
I wore it recently at around 5c with a long sleeve base-layer and merino T shirt and it kept me warm - the windproof panels work well. As I got hotter on climbs it was quick and easy to adjust the zip to maintain comfort. Very pleased indeed with the purchase.
30 January 2013
Good quality product
Great sizing and fit. Been wearing this in sub zero temperatures with just a merino wool long sleeve top underneath and I've been warm. My only criticism is the material on the collar is bobbling. Best cycling jacket I have brought.
29 January 2013
excellent top
This top keeps me warm,is a good fit, i'm 36 chest ordered a small worn over base layer , bib shorts, bib cruisers.& was a form fit. Good zips.Go for medium if you like a looser fit.
28 January 2013
Excellent Jersey But Size is Small
Im 6ft 3ins and 17st with 46-47 inch chest . Bought this because I thought wiggles own brand would be more accurate in sizes. I went for 47-49 to be sure. I was really impressed with the quality of the jersey but unfortunately the jersey is barely 46 inch so it was a little tight. 1/2 inch would have done... As there wasnt a bigger size I have to look elsewhere...The finishes for the front, sides and underarms seem very effective. I gave a low score on the value because the price jumps all over the place...

Excellent jersey for the cold
Just used this for the first time, it's 27 Jan 2013, 5 deg outside and gusts of 30mph. In this jersey I didn't once feel cold, in fact after 10 mins or so felt really cosy, only had one extra layer (long sleeve cycling top).
I initially ordered large but far too tight for my liking. Ordered XXL in the end as I like a fairly loose fit-my chest is 42inch, waist 36.
In summary, looks great, performs really, really well, doesn't cost that much and means I can now ride in almost all weathers. Chuffed to bits with it.
27 January 2013
Good value, good performance
Having not bought any new jerseys for a while, I was somewhat surprised to find this is almost a soft-shell jacket. It feels good, it fits me well despite a bit of a belly, and works well. The windproof membrane keeps my torso warm, but I did notice my arms felt a bit chilly. Recommended.
26 January 2013
Warm, windprrof and fitted!
Great performance, keeping me warm even in Minus conditions this winter. My only gripe is that it comes up small. I'm not a big lad (5' 11" and 82kg) and after reading size guides I went for a large. Good arm length, however quite fitted around the torso and the rear doesnt seem to be quite long enough to stop it riding up every now and again. Still, great product and would buy another.
24 January 2013
Nice Jersey, be aware sizes are a little small
spent some time trying to work out whaty size to order and in the end, followed the advive of others and order larger than i normally would. I am 36 waist, 47 chest and ordered the XXL. This fits me well and if anything, is slightly generous so could fit someone a little larger. Quality oif the fabric is very good and is very good value for money. Partricuarly like the overlentgh sleeves which of course confirms it really is for cycling.

Does what it says on the tin
Only had the windslam one week but it has been used 5 days straight in what has proved to be a cold week's commuting. It is a snug fit, keeps me warm and looks good. Would recommend but order at least one size up than you think you are. I had to swap from large to extra extra large.
19 January 2013
Very nice jacket
I've used this jacket from +5C down to -9C, and it works flawlessly. Basically in warmer weather (+5) it's enough with a short-sleeve base under, and in colder conditions I just add different base layers.
Only downside is that the arms are a bit long and don't have wind protection, so when it was -9 I used a simple short-sleeve base t-shirt, roubaix arm warmers and a long sleeve base, and it was almost too warm. Even my fingers, that usually gets very cold very quick, had a good time on that 1-hour ride, as the combination didn't chill the blood on the way to the hands.
Some have mentioned the large neck as a minus, I think it's a plus because it allows me to use a merino Buff as a neck warmer without being too tight.
I would strongly recommend this one to anyone considering biking in sub-0 temperatures. It even keeps rain out for a decent while.
17 January 2013
Excellent product
I'm 6'1" 42" chest and the large size is a good tight but comfortable fit. The windblock is very good and so is breath-ability. I have been very comfortable on British winter rides (not extreme cold) with only a base layer and bib roubaix tights in combination. Full length zip great to open up on climbs and back pockets nicely adequate for race cape, gels and phone.
13 January 2013
Very comfortable, snug fit and high collar
Very comfortable jacket, the high collar and low waist at the back give good protection from the wind.
13 January 2013
Great Jacket
This Jacket is very good, i went out this morning and had it on, with a thin vest underneath, and a dhb rain jacket ontop. It kept me very warm and it fits great, only a little short at the front, but i have come to realise most cycling clothes are like this on me.
The Fabric used is very comfortable against the skin, and the zip is of high quality (nothing bugs me more than a rubbish zip)
The Rear pockets are also a good feature, along with a little clip to clip something valuable to, maybe a house key?
All in all, If you want a cheap-ish wind proof jersey that you dont mind wearing with a vest, for a little more added warmth, then dont hesitate to buy this one!

Great winter top
As with all DHB stuff I have gone for, you get quality products at a better price than the trendy brands. It does all it says in the product description, with a wind proof ,embrace front to the chest and front of sleeves. With base layers and a coat it will do you through Autumn into winter and then Spring.
The biggest help I find with clothes product reviews is getting the size choice right as manufacturer claims and realty often differ!so this is me: I am 6ft, 12.5 stone, 34" waist and a 42" chest, and the large was too small, the extra large is a perfect fit.
06 January 2013
Good All Rounder
As with all dhb, good value, good performane. Only grumble is that the matrerial is starting to wear due to rubbing from rucksak. But, thats probably expected.
02 January 2013
Keeps the wind off nicely
I seem to be buying a lot of DHB branded stuff, but for value for money and performance you will pay a lot more to match.
This jersey is a nice comfortable fit, and got this in the same size as I would a normal jumper, and the fit is good allowing plenty of room for base layer and bibs. The protection you get into the wind is perfect, the fabric doing its job as it should. Has been washed plenty of times with no problems.
Can't see no problems with colour choice either, 3 is plenty to be honest, unless you are trying to colour match your bike!

Does the Windslam Roubaix Jersey have an elasticated pull cord in the neck so that you can adjust it for a snug fit? I have found, in the past, that because I have to go up a size, because I don't like my tops being tight, that the neck is then too loose.

So, the designers had intended to achieve "form fit". The jersey is described as "slim fit". How did the design go wrong?

I wear it with nothing underneath, but layer up with a craft mesh vest to give an extra layer of warmth and wick away some sweat on cooler rides.I also wear arm warmers underneath as the sleeves are not wind stopper material.
I have tried a medium and the fit was too tight on the chest and short for my torso. However sleeves were of right size.
Could anyone measure up the sleeves on a large? e.g. on the medium I have measured
