The fabric is from Miti who make some of the best materials often copied by many other companies. The 190g provides the perfect balance on weight and warmth, combined with a 20% elastane which allows the tight to fit more body types than those with a lower count. Along with the new fabric there has been extensive work with Cytech (leaders in pad technology and used by Assos and many others) to develop some high performance pads not seen at this price point before. The Race Pad in these tights is great for a good couple of hours in the saddle, if you are looking for a higher grade of comfort check out the Pace Roubaix Giro pad which is designed for logging some serious miles. Choosing a bib tight with a good pad is the perfect solution for commuting on days when the temperature is less likely to differ from your morning ride to the evening one.
Pace has been replaced by the new Vaeon range for 2012.
Vaeon – for Autumn weather.
Vaeon Roubaix - for general Winter weather.
Vaeon Reflex - for general Winter weather and low light conditions
Vaeon Zero - for coldest weather.

About Cycling Tights
Winter cycling tights, also known as 'longs' are the best way to keep your leg muscles warm when the weather turns cold. Fleecy backed fabrics are comfortable next to your skin and help retain warmth, even when they're wet. Look for double-layer knees to keep your joints protected. Calf-length tights, also known as 'knickers' are great for days when it's not too cold but you want to keep your knees warm.
About the dhb brand
The dhb brand was first born in Hampshire, England. The founders – d, h and b decided they didn’t want to just sell bicycle gear but they also wanted to be involved with every aspect of it’s design and development. Five years later, with international expansion all products are still ridden extensively by the in-house R&D team in the local South Downs region. Getting out and riding is the core philosophy of the dhb brand. We want people to be outside riding doing what they love most. The dhb range of cycling apparel and accessories aims to engage all levels of rider - from novice, to triathlete and competitive sportive rider. We have worked with skilled technicians and factories across the globe to bring ‘our’ kit to ‘you’ - the enthusiast. dhb has experienced phenomenal success in the United Kingdom, and over the past years our reach has extended through Europe to fellow riders in Japan and Australia. The new branding for dhb is a turning point marking our increasing energy for our brand. With more cyclists spinning their wheels every day, dhb will continue to provide kit that offers technical, elegant solutions, with longevity for your best rides.

Magazine reviews for dhb Pace Padded Bib Tight
Review from Bikeradar
The Pace bib tights are one of the results of DHB redesigning much of their range for this winter. It's no surprise to see brushed Roubaix fabric, which is something of a standard in thermal tights.
Rather than stick with simple six-panel construction, DHB have introduced a couple of extra panels that result in excellent fit on the legs with minimal bunching behind the knee. There are no foot loops, but the inclusion of ankle zips means the legs can be sufficiently snug to not ride up but not impossible to get into. Also helping access is a short front zip, which makes the Pace both easier to put on and less awkward when you need to make a trip to the bushes... All the zips are decent YKK items which should last the course.
Inside is a decent one-piece moulded Cytech Giro pad, which is a healthy thickness and well thought-out shape. Reflective trim by the ankle zips and a reflective logo on the back provide extra-visibility finishing touches. The DHB designers' work has clearly paid off – the Pace's fit and comfort is a match for considerably more expensive tights. That they've managed to get these out for £45 is nothing short of amazing – it's hard to see why you'd pay more when these are available.
In conclusion...
