All legwear in the Vaeon Roubaix range uses 235g Lombardia Lycra Fabric. The fabric is made from 85% Nylon and 15% Elastane, making it a strong compressive fabric, with luxurious hand-feel. The fabric face in contact with the skin has been precision brushed to create a Roubaix finish. This means the inside is fleecy and soft to touch. These brushed fibres trap a layer of air between the fabric and skin, which acts as an insulation barrier between busy warm legs and the cold fresh air. This fabric is suited for general UK Winter conditions (8-15deg Celsius depending on ride intensity) but not extreme cold.

The Vaeon Roubaix has taken the Pace Roubaix fitting block and improved it. The Vaeon Roubaix is now snugger and more form fitting. The fit has been sharpened around the backside and behind the knees. The anatomical form fit is snug around the body without excess fabric and without restricting movement.

Waist tights are a great solution for commuters wishing to quickly change in and out of their gear or to make loo stops more convenient. Some cyclists will use waist tights as an additional layer over their base bib shorts to boost warmth and comfort. dhb Winter waist tights are patterned to extend up to the true waist position so that the drafts around the belly area can be eliminated.

The CyTech Giro chamois (padded insert) is the mid-level protection giving comfort in the saddle for full half day session. The dual density foam, with anatomical 3D shape spreads the load onto your saddle helping to minimise pressure points. The smooth contact fabric face uses CyTech’s patented ‘Elastic Interface’ fabric, which is designed to endure continual, flex and stress without causing chafing. Leg openings have elasticated hems with clear silicone grippers. This helps to ensure that the leg stays in place and does not ride upwards.

Reflective detailing strips on the rear legs and 2 reflective dhb logos on the garment help to improve your road visibility when riding in reduced light conditions.

The ‘no-rattle’ lock-down YKK ankle zippers have been strategically positioned to fit into the crevice between your Achilles heel and main ankle ball joint. This means they don’t rub on your heel and tuck nicely into the space in your shoe heel. The zipper heads are a robust size 5 – which makes using them with cold hands or gloves easy.
