All legwear in the Vaeon range uses 190g Ceylon Lycra fabric produced in Italy. This durable performance stretch fabric provides compression and breathability. The 80/20 Nylon/Elastane composition gives the fabric a great hand-feel, and the high quality production ensures that the form-fit characteristic will last the test of time. This fabric is NOT brushed or fleeced (Roubaix) making it suitable for cool Autumn rides, where longs are preferable to shorts, and Roubaix is not necessary. This fabric is suited for Autumn UK conditions (12-18deg Celsius) depending on ride intensity).
Unpadded tights are a good solution for riders who choose to wear this garment as an extra layer over the top of a pair of padded shorts or bibshorts to boost warmth.
Leg openings have elasticated hems with clear silicone grippers. This helps to ensure that the leg stays in place and does not ride upwards.
The ‘no-rattle’ lock-down YKK zipper heads are a robust size 5 – which makes using them with cold hands or gloves easy.
