Looks very much like another good quality, reasonably priced DHB product from reading the reviews but they also suggest that getting the correct size is not straightforward. At 5'9" with a 39" chest I would normally go for a medium. Would anyone care to comment on the aptness of that decision for this product. TIA

Answer:
Depends on the jersey u r planning on using it with. If it's quite heavy or bulky u should probably go a size up, otherwise a M would suit u fine. Have in mind that these products are usually designed 4 the regular rider that is fit sized. Judging by the dimensions u submit I would go for a M too.

as you say on quality, I've held one and confirm that it's another DHB classic, however as I'm the larger size the XL was typically too small, return was simple enough. I#d paid by paypal, my account was credited within 2 days of return posting

I am about 5'8 with and usually wear M/L.
I ordered the large jacket. The arms are slightly short as is the back, but only a little bit. I consider the jacket a fit, but XL may have been a better choice. From my slightly less than average dimensions it is clear that I am not extra large.

Hi....I am 6'3", 93kgs with a 42" chest and bought the large size so as I got a close fit, can't stand rustling noise of loose fitting jackets.
Jacket fits fine in chest and arms but ideally could do with it just a tad longer in the body but as it is emergency wear can live with that.

Answer:
The sizing is accurate but not generous, so if you're normally a medium that's a safe bet. Any clothing via mail order is a bit of a gamble though!

Answer:
Go for the large. Most other reviewers including me, say it's too short in the body, which is true. Ordering the bigger size will help but won't make it too baggy either.

I'm 5'9" with a 36" chest and recently ordered a dhb hunston clear jacket which was spot on for size across chest (but seems to have a large neck opening for some reason) at a 39" chest you might find the small pretty tight?

What is the size (volume) of the jacket when it is in it's "mesh stuff pack"? Any pictures of it? How does it compare to a can of coke (330ml) or a Endura Pakajak for example?
I'd like to know the accurate weight measurements of the different sizes too if possible.
Thanks.

smaller than a can of coke and weighs about half a can - watch the sizing though.....very small sixes. I swim in an XL usually and the XXL was way off from fitting me

I bought the Wisp Jacket. To answer my own question, I would say it's longer than a can of coke, but narrower. Like a fat sausage. But it can be squashed down further or bent in half. About the size of a tennis ball is as small as it can be squashed down to.
I measured it in it's mesh stuff pack (size XL). Length is 21cm, width is about 6cm, and weight is only 125g.

Fits neatly into the pockets of your jersey, smaller than a coke can and will squash even smaller than the mesh sock.

Answer:
It is highly breathable, just like Pertex. Loved mine but trashed it in a crash. Only limited sized now, which do not fit me.
It has a stuff sack as it has no pockets and packs down really small.
