ATOP Clousure System
The ATOP closure system allows you to regulate the fit of your shoe from a single dial. The mono-filament design provides even and secure closure down the full length of the shoe, eliminating, numbness and hotspots. ATOP can be adjusted when you ride, letting you relax the fit on long flat stretches and tighten for the climbs and sprints, perfect for all-day rides, races and tours.

External Heel Counter
The External Heel Counter provides anatomic support and a high level of stability for your heel. Shaped to eliminate heel slip, reduce shock and provide a secure fit, the External Counter is essential for sprints and hard efforts.

Drilled Tougue
A padded and ventilated tongue for comfort and breathability. A layer of foam padding conforms to your foot shape with perforations to allow evaporation and cooling airflow, keeping your feet fresh and comfortable on long rides in hot conditions.

CX Carbon Sole
The CX carbon sole is made from Toray MR60 high modulus carbon fibre in a specially configured lay-up. The nine layers are positioned at different angles for complete directional strength.

• 0° : Maximum stiffness and responsiveness.
• 45° : Incredible tortional rigidity for an ultra responsive and firm steering feel.
• 90° : Strength and durability for long life and consistent high performance.

The CX CARBON has also a reference table for the accurate and consistent cleat positioning. A textured surface prevents movement.

Speedplay Sole
The new Speedplay® Approved sole from DMT provides a perfectly flat platform which is directly compatible with Speedplay® four-bolt pedal systems. This eliminates the need for the adapter plates needed when mounting the pedals on conventional three-bolt soles. Wind tunnel tests have shown the combination of Speedplay® pedals with DMT shoes employing Speedplay® approved soles to provide a 33 second per hour advantage over conventional shoes and pedals. Additional benefits include a lower stack height which positions the foot closer to the pedal axle and facilitates more efficient transfer of power. The absence of adaptors also makes the shoe lighter.

ASL Thermoforming Insoles
Advanced insoles that help stabilize the foot and provide support that prevents bending of the plantar arch and can alleviate knee torsion. The air flow system provides ventilation and comfort even in the hottest weather conditions.
The 3d DMT-ASL insole is made of rigid Eva foam with a ventilated air flow system. This provides stability, comfort and increased breathability even during hard efforts at high temperatures.

The ASL insole can be moulded in the heel and plantar arch areas through a thermoforming process. This helps stabilize the foot and provides the support necessary to prevent bending of the plantar arch while alleviating knee torsion.
